I was feeling creative, but I was also feeling a little lazy, so I used some good vocabulary, but it's a pretty simple rhyme scheme. Hooray for half lazy poems! But, I still think it's good. For me, at least.

When the Sun Comes Out

Everyone knows

That when winter is done,

As are the snows,

Then out comes the sun

To warm away

All that is cold

And the skies that be gray

To free life in frozen hold.

But some winters

It seems

The sun dare not enters,

Spring to be only distant dreams.

But why?

When sun is obscured

It be not nigh

Even fractures are blurred

In attempts to break through.

The bleak wardens show not

The full beauty the world unto.

If ice were to melt

It might because has felt.

When heavenly sun

To renounce dark clouds

Shines to leave cold none,

The bright is loud

And the frost to run.

Then it will crack

The stiff and cold

And warmth will come back.

True, winter brings such joy to be made.

But does it not get old

When you're oh so cold

And the warmth is delayed?

It's always nice to get a little sun.
