Dry Bowser and Mario noticed while they were racing each other in pipe framed karts around the Music Park, with the two racers firing off green and red shells at each other as they suddenly disappeared. The skeletal reptile and the fat Italian plumber were stunned as they stopped their racing, being right at the finish line.

"All right, something is up. Where are these shells heading off to?" Dry Bowser commented while brushing his red hair.

Mario rubbed his chin as he murmured. "Mamma mia... this is driving me nuts. Where could those shells have gone?"

The two decided to get to the bottom of this as they noticed a bunch of ricocheting green shells heading into a void nearby, with the two leaving their karts behind as they jumped into it.

"Are you sure this is a good plan?" Mario asked while they continued plummeting.

"Trust me, I know it might be strange, but we have to get to the bottom of this." Dry Bowser responded as he could feel some of his bones fly right out of him.

Meanwhile, poor Toadette was gassing up the haunted mansion she stumbled into, which caused the ghosts to not pop up as they didn't want to make the stinky mushroom girl any more farty than she was.

"Oh my... what was I thinking biting into that Boo Mushroom?" Toadette said above her farting as she fanned the smelly air she was making, dressed up in her treasure tracker outfit. "I know I'm always like this, but I think I really went too far..."

A couple of Boos were cackling as they disappeared, not wanting to get destroyed by the light on Toadette's headlamp as she looked up the red carpet, wondering if she actually did hear anything beyond her own flatulence.

"Gee... I sure hope I didn't hear anyone laughing at my stinky situation..." Toadette gulped as she tried holding down her puffed up dress with her other hand while still fanning, unaware that she was being watched and mocked in the shadows.
