Chapter 1
Their Beginnings
A long time ago in a galaxy far far a way...
Area 51, Earth
Pain… That was all the 8-year old Tsukune Aono could remember, He could not remember his family no matter how hard he tried all he came up with were dead bodies covered in blood with no faces, he was held in a containment chamber, all around him were scientists and military officers they only referred to him as Project Decimation, they considered him a potential weapon. Each time they referred to him as a weapon he slammed his fists against the wall of the chamber screaming as loud as he can "I AM NO WEAPON I AM A HUMAN NAMED TSUKUNE AONO!" he screamed at the top of his lungs
The Scientist leading the project couldn't make out what he was saying, but heard the screaming and pressed a button, at this two magnetic wrist cuffs that Tsukune had on were activated and were drawn up to clamp to the side of the wall holding him there and sending shocks of electricity through his body giving him pain that made him cry out even more! With every fiber in his being he mentally cried out for someone to free him from this prison, little did he know that two people heard his cry…
Suzen Castle, Yokai Realm
Moka Suzen sat bolt upright in bed cold sweat covering her skin, Every night for the past Month she had been waking up from nightmares of a human boy being tortured in ways that made what Humans did to Yokai look like a spa treatment, how could humans do that to their own kind but this time she was able to get a name to this boy, Moka got out of bed and walked towards the window looking out over the mountainous land that she called home. "Tsukune Aono, You are in pain, but how can I help you?"
THOUSANDS OF LIGHT YEARS AWAY…
Dromund Kaas Space dock
Darth Mepre, a Sith Weapons Master Broke from his meditation trance also with cold sweat, a call through the force had echoed through space, a cry of grief, Pain and Rage. Darth Mepre walked to the window of his quarters aboard the star base and gazed out into the Abyss of space. Somewhere… that young man holds the force and is being experimented on, this I cannot allow! He growled in his head wanting to slaughter all in that facility wherever it was. A beep from his quarters door brought him back to the present "Come in" said the Weapons Master, an Imperial Lieutenant entered "Begging your pardon my lord but the dark council has called for you, they say the Emperor has requested you to come before him."
This news took Lord Mepre by surprised, but he straightened himself and said "Very well Lieutenant, ready a shuttle and I will be down shortly." Said Lord Mepre The Lieutenant Bowed and left
A SHUTTLE RIDE LATER…
Dromund Kaas Imperial Citadel
Darth Mepre was led to a turbolift just outside the Dark Council's Meeting Chamber "The Emperor Awaits you." Said Darth Jadus emotionlessly, Mepre nodded and entered. When the Turbolift doors opened they revealed a high vaulted chamber of stone with Reliefs adorning the walls depicting scenes of battles between Jedi and sith in the distant past. At the other side of the chamber was a throne flanked by pillars with torches at the top. "Enter… Darth Mepre" said a voice emanating from the throne.
Hearing the stories from those few who were actually in the emperor's presence of what the emperor can and will do if disobeyed, Mepre entered the throne room and kneeled before the emperor, and it was then that he took a good look at him, the outfit was not what he expected from the most powerful of the dark lords. He wore a pure white hooded robe with a blood red sash tied around the waste as a belt. Despite the emperor's unique taste in wardrobe Darth Mepre couldn't help but be transfixed at the man who was no longer a man, but the pinnacle of power that was the force. The Emperor rose from his throne and lowered his hood, the face of the Emperor was one that Lord Mepre himself didn't expect, here was a man standing before him that seemed to be in his twenties with a completely shaven head and his eyes… they were nothing like normal sith's eyes, this sith's eyes gleamed brighter than even the two suns of Tatooine. Darth Mepre couldn't help but look in awe of the being of power that stood before him. "I called you before me because you are the only other apart from myself who has heard the call." The voice sounded like something that was beyond mortals' comprehension
"The call, My Emperor?" asked Mepre almost afraid to speak to or even question the Emperor.
"Yes…" said the emperor "In a far section of space there is a planet known as earth from which this call originated… a human that is force sensitive is held captive and experimented upon by his own kind through his cry I sensed his rage, his desire for freedom. It is down to you, to seek him out and bring him into our fold, Kill all in that station.
"It shall be done, my Emperor." Said Lord Mepre and left
Within a few minutes Mepre had his ship prepped and was ready to go. Darth Mepre punched in the coordinates following what the force guided him to and made the jump to hyperspace.
MEANWHILE…
Suzen Castle, Yokai Realm
"And are you certain of this?" asked Issa Suzen Moka's father
"Beyond any doubt, I believe this boy, Tsukune Aono, has the same powers as I do though he was captured and is the subject of horrendous experiments done by his own kind." Said Moka
this news unsettled Issa, he remembered all too well the experiments that were done on him during the scientific revolution in Europe and those memories will haunt him to eternity or as long as he lives. "I will see what I can do to help him for you." Said Issa
Moka hugged her father "Thank you, father." She said just as Kokoa Her younger sister dropped out of nowhere insistent on Moka fighting her
Southern Nevada, Earth
Darth Mepre gazed out over the vast desert from his vantage point, from his electrobinoculars he saw the place that the cry had emanated from. It was a heavily guarded military facility, the buildings were sparse on the surface but that would mean fewer places to search. But as he watched from his location he sensed he was being watched from somewhere close by. "I know you are there." Said Mepre darkly, "come out and explain why you are watching me… before I bring you out by force." He added the last part with a grin
A woman emerged from behind a rock she had very bizarre attire for the environment, she wore a long dress that looked more at home in a ballroom than out in the middle of the desert "Who are you?" asked Mepre his hand inching for his lightsaber
"One who is after the same thing you're after." She stated
"So you know that I am after Tsukune Aono? How?"
"The Hades Kings have their ways of knowing, but I wonder, what will you do with the boy when you have rescued him?" asked the woman
"…" Mepre thought about his next words carefully "I will take him to a place where he can learn to harness his powers without fear of what has already happened to him." Said Mepre
the woman chuckled "then that would be a thorn in my mission's side because my orders are to bring him to the Castle of the vampire lord Suzen, where he can be with another with the same power." She said
That caught The Sith Lord's attention "Another?! Who?!" asked Mepre hardly believing what came through his head.
"Why, my dear little sister Moka, she has had dreams of young Aono in pain for a month." Explained the woman
"I see, so Tsukune Aono's Cry for help didn't go to just the empire…"
"Pardon me but what Empire do you speak of?" she asked
"I will explain later, just hear me out will you?" he asked
"I am listening…" said the woman
"I say we form an alliance, we work together to rescue Aono from that facility, WE will bring him to the castle you speak of," said Mepre
"Doesn't that cause problems for your mission?" asked the woman
"Not exactly, I want to see what they are like together." Said Mepre if against all odds this turns out a certain way, they are even more important than even the emperor himself knows
the woman considered his offer "What is your name?" she asked
"I am Darth Mepre, but many address me as Lord Mepre." He said stating his name.
"My name is Kahlua Suzen and I am a vampire."
Mepre raised an eyebrow "Vampire? They are no more than stuff of lore where I come from but I come from the far reaches of the galaxy, so do you accept my offer or not?" asked Mepre
"I accept, but how do you think that a human could break into a base like that?" asked Kahlua
Mepre grinned, the same way I go into any fight." He said and raised his hand sending a streak of lightning at a rock disintegrating it. "And there is a lot more power where that came from." Said Mepre
"Hmm… that is interesting power, let's go then." She said
Area 51, Earth
Darth Mepre just walked into Area 51, Kahlua had briefed him on the security of the facility and he knew what he was to do, he was going to draw Area Security to him to create a diversion, luckily the cammo dudes would be unable to call the local sheriff because Kahlua already made short work of the sheriff's office and so they were about to drive up and try to drive him off. "Heh, so you wanna play?" asked Mepre activating his double bladed lightsaber
And so began what was known to UFO enthusiasts across the world as the Battle of Area 51, and the security was on the loosing side as it was massacred by Darth Mepre and Kahlua. Mepre walked away from the field of corpses towards the base where he was to meet Kahlua she stood at the door of one of the buildings waiting for him bloodied bodies scattered around her.
"I have located where he is being held." She said
"Okay," said Mepre activating his lightsaber and sliced through the door only for Kahlua to slide an ID card in a slot and what was left of the doors slid open. They looked at each other and shrugged "Lead on." Said Mepre.
MEANWHILE…
Pain, and death, blood everywhere, a red stream of light cutting through the facilities employees like they were nothing the energy of battle invigorated Tsukune, they were getting killed, the ones that had caused him so much pain, they had put the facility on lockdown he was trapped in this chamber while the scientists evacuated, he wanted to let the attackers know that he was here and wanted to be set free, to help him, he didn't know what else to do some of the scientists didn't make it and were trapped inside the lab with him, he wanted to cry out but he knew the attackers wouldn't hear him he felt the energy build up and he couldn't keep it any longer. Tsukune let out an inhuman scream, the scream had so much energy contained that it shattered the transparent walls of the chamber containing him as if it were extremely thin glass but the energy didn't stop there the energy shot throughout the lab the scientists who were trapped didn't stand a chance as the energy from that scream completely ripped flesh from bone.
WITH MEPRE AND KAHLUA
Did you sense that?" asked Mepre
"I sensed that energy surge." Said Kahlua and they continued their streak towards where Tsukune was held and broke through the lock down and entered to a site that horrified them both, complete skeletons devoid of flesh scattered around the room, internal organs still inside but badly damaged chunks of flesh scattered all over the place and in the midst of it all sat a boy, no older than 8 breathing heavily but took one look at the two on the other end of the room and blacked out.
ON MEPRE'S SHIP…
Kahlua lay the unconscious form of Tsukune on the bed in the medical bay for the medic droid to tend to. When she emerged into the main hold of the starship already en route to Suzen Castle she immediately slammed her fist into a wall blasting a hole into where Mepre's quarters was. "I cannot forgive humans!" she snarled
Mepre looked at Kahlua, then to the hole in the wall and back to her "You are paying for that you know." He said
Kahlua Glared at him for his joke, "How could they do that to one of their own?!" she said tears going down her cheeks
"I have been across the Imperial worlds and have seen many atrocities done for the sake of war, planets razed, children orphaned and so on, war is an inescapable beast, human experiments are not unheard of, even in the Sith empire. But where he may be going, he will not be an experiment, he will be an apprentice." Said Mepre
"An apprentice?" she asked
before the Sith master could answer a light on the holoprojector in the middle of the room lit up stating they were near the castle, the Darth and Kahlua entered the bridge looking out at the view of Suzen castle come closer into view and come in for a landing as Lord Mepre made the final checks on the control console a beeping on the ships intercom from the medical bay with the medical Droid in a panic "Master! The boy's life signs are fading he needs help fast but we do not have the proper medical supplies on board, I injected a medpac into him but it isn't enough he—"
Before the droid finished Kahlua darted off the bridge and to the medical bay and took a look at him, "his nervous system is breaking down after the electric surges they sent through him we must get him to the healing hall at the castle she said picking up Tsukune as Mepre lowered the boarding ramp as Issa Suzen hurried down the castle steps with Akasha Bloodriver on his heels to see what in the world was going on. "Kahlua What in heaven's name is going on and who is he?" he asked inclining his head at the dark lord.
"I am Darth Mepre, Sith weapons master, I helped your daughter rescue Tsukune, who is in dire need of medical attention, can you help us?" asked the sith lord Issa Nodded, Akasha and Kahlua took the boy and took him to the healing halls leaving Lord Mepre and Issa Suzen in front of the castle.
"I would like to thank you for helping my daughter save Tsukune, but why?"
"Before I answer that I would like to hear more about your daughter named Moka Suzen?"
Issa raised an eyebrow "Why?" he asked
"I believe she has the same power as he does" replied Mepre
"Would you like to come in and discuss this over a drink?" asked Issa
"That is very kind of you, Lord Suzen" as they entered the castle and Issa led the Sith lord into a nice sitting room and called for a decanter of brandy to be brought up. The servant nodded and left the room and a few minutes later returned with a decanter and two glasses on a tray. Issa removed the stopper and poured a glass and handed it to the sith lord who took a sniff with interest then a sip. "Interesting drink, not the kind of alcohol I am familiar with back home but I like it.
"Thank you," replied the vampire lord. "Anyway you were saying you wanted to hear more about my special daughter moka?"
"Yes, indeed I did, you wouldn't have happened to have noticed any strange things happening? Objects levitating around her, people being pushed without her touching them?"
Issa was silent for a short while then said "all of those things and more, I once saw her in a sitting position levitating two feet in the air, in the middle of her room with her toys floating around her, there was one time she was sparring with her younger sister and she sent to jab at young Kokoa yet before Moka's hand touched her Kokoa went flying, little things like that." Said the vampire lord
"And I am told she has had visions of Tsukune being tortured for a month before this strike." Replied the Sith Lord
"Precisely." Said Lord Shuzen "Do you know what this power is?" he asked wanting at least some kind of enlightenment as to the power his daughter had
"The power you speak of has gone by many a name over the millennia but what it goes by now is called The Force." Began Mepre
"The Force?" asked Issa
"It is an energy field created by all living things and is what holds the universe together, and there are those who are force sensitive and can use it in many different ways." Explained Mepre "I am of one such order known simply as the Sith."
"Sith?" repeated Issa
"Yes, and it is my belief that Tsukune and your Daughter are part of an ancient sith prophecy, of two warriors that will either bring the empire to a new age of glory, or level it to the ground." Explained Mepre
Issa stared in shock at the Sith lord explaining such a prophecy possibly about his daughter and the boy that was just rescued "So you want to take the boy and my daughter with you to be trained in your ways." He asked
"If there is anyone that should be asked about them it is Moka and Tsukune." Responded Mepre "But let us wait until the boy awakes." He added and Issa nodded in agreement
A WHILE LATER…
Young Tsukune's eyes fluttered opened to reveal himself in a very soft bed, it apparently was very late at night and the moon shone through the large window which illuminated a figure resting at his bedside, it was a girl about his age with bright Silver hair. He went over and cautiously shook the girl trying to wake her up which it did and Tsukune was startled by her eyes crimson red with pupils like those of a cat's eye "Ah, you're awake, Tsukune!" she said with relief
"Who are you and where am I?" he asked "I am Moka Suzen, and you are in my home's healing halls." She explained
"Healing halls? Last time I remember I was in a containment chamber in a lab!" said Tsukune not understanding but then he remembered sensing the destruction that was caused there "Did the people who attacked lab rescue me?" he asked and Moka Nodded
"Yes but you almost died in the process of coming here, it was my mother who saved you." Explained Moka
"How?" asked Tsukune
"She injected vampire blood into you and made you a vampire." Said Moka
"I'M A VAMPIRE?!" exclaimed Tsukune in a loud voice that must've woken half the people in the castle within a few minutes the lights came on and a young woman with long pink hair and wore a Victorian dress came hurrying in
"Moka? Are you all right?" asked the woman in a hurried voice and Tsukune noticed she had elongated canines that vampires had.
"I'm fine, Tsukune here just found out he is now a vampire." Explained Moka
It was then that the woman looked at Tsukune with the kindness of a mother "I really am sorry I had to turn your life around at your age," she said "Ordinarily it is forbidden to turn people into vampires at your age unless it is a real emergency, it was the only way I could save your life." She explained
Tsukune nodded understanding that if she didn't do it he would be dead "I guess this means no more burgers, seeing as I'll have to drink blood." Said Tsukune in defeat
"Not at all, most of the legends and folklore regarding vampires are either very garbled or completely false." She explained "anyway, there is a man here who asked to see you when you woke up." She added then signaled for a servant to ask him to fetch Lord Mepre and within five minutes the Dark lord arrived, he was wearing a black tunic and a belt with various pouches and an elongated metal bar hanging from it,
"Hello, young Tsukune," he said Kindly "My name is Darth Mepre, I am what is known as a sith." He began
"What is a sith?" asked Tsukune
"a sith is a person who uses the same power you do, only with much more training." Explained Mepre Tsukune looked scared now at the mention of it and mepre latched onto it explaining, "No my friends and I are not going to turn you into a weapon like those Nerf herders who experimented on you were trying to do, far from it actually, in fact I am to bring you both to a place where you both can learn how to harness your powers and gain yourselves a place in the upper echelons of our society. "You see, the highest ranks in society are reserved for the people who have your power, you will learn how to harness it and be free to make your own choices never having to fear imprisonment again." He explained
"This means me too?" asked Moka excitedly
"Both of you." Confirmed Mepre
"so you will teach us how to use this power?" asked Tsukune
"No." said Mepre "But I am well connected and know people who would be eager to train you." He explained Moka and Tsukune were looking like they were ready to go and the Sith lord had to chuckle at their eagerness but then turned to Moka "I have already spoke with your father and he is willing to let you go if you are willing, and with a nod from Moka he got his answer "Then we leave first thing in the morning, I will make preparations on my ship and we should be good to go." He said and left to prep his ship
THE NEXT MORNING…
Moka and Tsukune were standing in front of Mepre's ship in awe (Author's note: to know what ship I am talking about look up the Fury class Imperial Interceptor, the sith warrior/inquisitor starship from Star Wars the Old Republic) with a final goodby kiss to her parents and family Moka and Tsukune were climb the boarding ramp but Lord Suzen stopped them "Before you go, Tsukune I have something for you." He said and handed him a silver ring with a ruby set in it "This ring is your protective seal that seals a vampires aura, this will help you blend in and avoid unwanted attention." He explained as Tsukune slid it on and his aura vanished
Finally they climbed aboard the ship and the boarding ramp was raised and the ship took off into orbit, Mepre lead the two to the bunks "You'll sleep hear for the journey, if you need anything ask the droid," said Mepre nodding to a robot in the corner, Tsukune and Moka nodded and claimed bunks for them to sleep on.
"So I am a vampire." Said Tsukune gazing at the ring, not the way he wanted to spend the rest of his life but it was better than death or being held up in that lab. They eventually went to explore the ship, keeping their hands to themselves but admiring the look of the place.
Over the course of the trip Mepre taught them the basics of sith culture, how to read the galactic language, and even better describing the force so they don't embarrass themselves in front of high ranking sith. The trip lasted a few hours but Tsukune and Moka took in all they could and finally they entered Imperial space and was headed for his own estate on Dromund Kaas it was a stronghold built in the rock of a mountain overlooking the valley with a clear view of Kaas City Tsukune and Moka stared in awe out the view port as the pilot brought the ship in to land on the private landing pad. They followed the sith lord off the ship and took their first steps onto Droumnd Kaas where they will begin their lives as sith they entered the home to see it bedecked with the imperial banner with blacks and reds in color they were shown to their rooms and found they each had a computer terminal in their rooms, the bed was nice and luxurious and they had a workstation if they wanted to build anything and so forth. Tsukune sat down on the bed looking around for the first time he could remember: his very own room and so he curled up on his new bed and fell straight to sleep.
Hello everyone and happy star wars day, may the fourth be with you! after much procrastination, too many attempts on my life by many snipers from Republic military to count, fleeing from republic special forces and my profile just might be on the bounty boards put there by the hutt cartels I am now finally posting the redone and re-edited edition of Sith+Vampire hope you will enjoy the newer and re imagined story of Tsukune in Moka as they battle together to become the greatest sith in the galaxy!
