Memories
Yeah, so here's my latest excuse for my insanity...
Actually I don't have one other than the fact that THIS PLOT WOULD NOT LEAVE ME ALONE. For Pete's sake it woke me up just to tell me to write it!
That is all... Wait! Disclaimer!
I don't own PMD.
Rebecca the Charmander sighed sadly, curled up in a ball next to the ocean, just wishing...
Wishing for what?
Well, she was wishing... Wishing for his return. Wishing for these stupid nagging thoughts to just leave her be.
Wishing she hadn't gained her memory back.
While on an expedition with the guild, she'd fallen down a hole. Stupid her, not looking where she was going...
Fortunately (Or, unfortunately) she had gained all of her memories from her previous life as a human. Sounds great, right?
Wrong.
"Be careful!" Rebecca warned. Dusknoir looked at her gently.
"Don't worry. I've got a perfect plan. Just distract Dialga long enough for me to find Celebi"
Rebecca had been unsure, but Grovyle just nodded and began to try and distract the large possessed pokemon. Dusknoir chuckled, kissing her head gently.
"I'll be fine"
He wasn't. Dialga had heard them. He attacked Dusknoir, and put him under his power.
That wasn't even the worst part...
"Dusknoir!" Rebecca cried out, rushing to his side. She tried to hold back her tears.
"Who are you?" he choked out. He lifted himself off the ground, as Rebecca stared at him.
"You... Don't remember me?"
"No. Who are you?" Dusknoir repeated.
"I'm your girlfriend! We're working together to stop time from being frozen in the past!"
Dusknoir just stared at her for a moment before responding,
"So much of what you just said is wrong, that I don't even know where to start"
He had gone into a rant, about how time and history shouldn't be altered. About how he valued his life and wouldn't try to do anything to endanger it.
And he also said...
"Besides, a pokemon could never love a human"
Love? As she recalled, they had never said love before. They'd only been dating a short while! But nonetheless, it had broken her heart.
"A human can love a pokemon" she responded.
"That is just sick"
He attacked her, but she barely dodged.
If she didn't have anything to live for before, she definitely had absolutely nothing after that incident.
Rebecca sobbed, hugging herself as she fell to the side, crying for what felt like the millionth time after regaining her memory.
The guild constantly asked questions, but she refused to tell anything that had to do with Dusknoir. She was afraid of bursting into tears. She was afraid they would judge her.
She was afraid he wouldn't love her again.
