The Hyper Force had just finished a mission on a planet near Sugazoom. The team was preparing to leave and go back home. Mandarin was standing with a clip board, checking off what had already been done. Otto ran up to him, with a smile a mile wide.
"Mandarin, I've finish the repairs to the robot!" Otto stated excitedly.
"That was fast…" Mandarin raised brow curiously.
"Well I worked extra fast today." Otto responded, still smiling.
Mandarin went back to his clipboard. Otto taped his shoulder, looking for attention.
"Hummm?" Mandarin made a sound to show he was listening.
"Well, I was hoping I could go explore the town a little bit…"Otto fiddled with his fingers.
"Otto, we have to leave soon…" Mandarin was about to say no but was interrupted.
"PLEEEEAASSSEEE! I won't be late! I promise!" Otto begged to go.
Mandarin sighed and gave in, he nodded yes.
"Just be back beforACK!" Before he could finish his sentence, Otto grabbed his hand and dragged him towards the exit. As Otto pulled him towards the exit, they ran past Antauri.
"Where are you two going?" Antauri asked as they ran past.
"Apparently outside!" Mandarin dropped the clip board at Antauri's feet.
Antauri chuckled warmly, as be picked up the clip board off the floor.
Otto dragged Mandarin around the little two and all of its wonders; ponds, monuments, little gift shops. Mandarin was starting to actually enjoy this, the area was beautiful, and Otto was fairly cute…Mandarin blushed at Otto, who was looking at fish in a pond.
A little while later Mandarin was waiting at a table in the middle of a wooded park. Otto had told him to wait there. A few minutes later Otto came back with some Ice-cream sundaes, caramel on Mandarins, and fudge on Otto's. The leader began to chuckle and smile almost flirtatiously at the young mechanic, who tilted his head in confusion.
"What?" Otto was very confused by his leader.
"You're so innocent, and childish. It's quite annoying at times, and very unprofessional." Mandarin stated with a smirk on his face.
Otto's smiled turned to frown, he felt very disappointed. He thought he was about to cry, but Mandarin did something that made him even more confused. Mandarin leaned over the table and kissed Otto on the mouth. Mandy sat back in his chair and went back to eating his ice-cream with a smirk.
"But, you're cute." Mandarin mumbled still smiling flirtatiously.
Otto's blank confused expression changed into a happy love drunk one.
Mandarin chuckled.
"Never change, Otto. Never change."
