IT's a very, hot hot day at the park. You sit down on the bench, pondering how you could relieve your burning sensation for a cold treat. Just as all hope seems to be lost, an ice-cream truck appears in the corner of your eye, across the road. The road seems clear. Realizing it's only a matter of time before you melt in the blazing sun, and swarms of pedestrians swoon over the ice cream, you strive to take advantage of this opportunity. Sprinting full speed ahead, you don't notice a car speeding from your flank, apparently, your road-crossing skills are lacking. 'WHAM', you were stricken by a vehicle. After being notified that the road to salvation comes at a price, you crawl towards your hope in the spiel of despair. Thankfully, you'd just made it to the counter. Feeling a cool breeze from the chillled inside of the truck, suddenly it's all taken away. YOu feel your arm throb in pain. The door closed on you, and the truck is moving. You scream and flail in desperation, but to no avail, the ice cream-truck is in full motion. motion. In the rear view-mirror, you see a terrified expression on the driver's face, noticing someone hanging from his truck. 'Pay attention to the road, you thought, in pain'. Suddenly, it stops, slaming your head into the sun-visor, ripping your arms off. 'You were in a car crash' The nurse tells you. 'Your arms were dismembered at the scene.' In one last attempt of desperation, you ask the nurse for some ice-cream. "Sorry, we ran out. The children here over eat it all the time.". In a fit of rage, you attempt to yelp you were going to curse Gods, goddesses, demons, and the whole world. But all you could manage is a unpleasant gurgle. Your vocal cords were damaged in the accident. You scare the nurse off, and are now left in the Emergency Room alone.
