I was sitting on a lounge chair in the Hale yacht looking up at the stars it was a beautiful night. I guess Hale has been watching me he seemed like he wanted to say something but was still mad that I invited Nick. I guess anger never stopped a Hale because he asked anyway "How can we trust him his mom works for Interpol". I just looked into his eyes I could tell that's not what he wanted to talk about "Hale I don't expect you to trust him but I want you to trust me and I know you won't fight me on this". We just stared at each other as the minutes ticked by and the conversation took a completely different turn.
He just asked "How long did you know?"
"Know what?"
"How I felt about you"
I stood up and walked to the railings to look out at the open sea "When you told me you didn't choose this life you choose me"
He came and stood next to me "Kat that was a few months ago"
"I know I wanted to see how things went that's why I didn't go back to Colgan I wanted to see where we would go".
I stared at the sea knowing as soon as I said the words I meant it. Hale didn't seem to believe me. He turned around to leave and I grabbed his wrist "Hale wait". I pulled him to me and kissed his gently he seemed shocked I thought he would leave now but his grip tightened on me and we continued to kiss passionately. Then I heard Hamish say "I guess mom and dad aren't getting a divorce". As we pulled away we saw everyone had gathered around. It didn't bother me I was happy and while everyone watched I kissed Hale again.
