Hi everyone! This is the first time I'm writing for the KH fanfiction fandom, and I'm glad it'll be for the Shiku ship! :D Anyways, wrote this awhile back on tumblr, thought I'd put it here too! This has become my OTP ever since DDD came out, and they're so adorable! The possibility for this odd couple is endless. xD Anyways, enjoy!
"Mr. Knight~!" Riku inwardly groaned as the chirpy voice called out to him. One Shiki Misaki had been really grating on his nerves, even if it was a joke. He was no knight caliber material, with his huge past involvement in the darkness. However, a small part of him couldn't but help but feel proud at the nickname. A knight. He was someone's personal knight.
"What is it?" he asks, stopping to turn to her. She walks up to him and smiles. A dazzling smile, even when she's in the game for her life. A positive outlook.
"I just wanted to make sure…that you're okay! I must be grating on your nerves right now…" she replies, playing with Mr. Mew. Riku thinks it's childish to be carrying a stuffed cat around, but it's Shiki. She can do what she likes. The kitty was pretty cute.
"No, no you're not. I am your knight, I am supposed to put up with the princess." he smirks, slightly teasing. Her face contorts into a cherry shade before she starts laughing.
"So you do know how to joke! I'm so glad!" he smiles at the fact that he can put such a smile on someone's face.
Knight…I like the sound of that.
