Splinter was surrounded by a yellow light. He could see his sons running through the forest. He could see the fear in their eyes. He tries to reach his sons and warn them of the danger behind them. Before his eyes, he saw the true Shedder, slice his sword into his son's chest. His eyes widened in shock and fear to see his sons covered in blood, dead. The force holding him released him and he quickly ran to his sons.

"Not my sons! Please not my sons!" Splinter cried angrily as he ran to his sons.

His heart fell into his stomach to see his dead children. He already lost his master, his father to a demon, he could not lose his sons as well. He cradled his youngest son's head in his lap as hot tears roll down his cheek.

"This can't be happening!" Splinter cried angrily as he sobs sadly into his blood covered hands.

His dear children, the children he raised since they were mere infants, were slayed by the work of the demon. He could not bear the pain of losing his family again. As Splinter cried angrily and with grief, he kept hearing voices around him.

"You are a failure!" "You let us down!" "You killed us!" "Murdered!" The voice shouted.

He was shocked to realized that the voice belonged to his sons. He tried desperately to block them out but it killed him to know that they were true. He could feel his dead sons surround him as he started to wake up.

Splinter woke up gasping for air as he looked around the room. He remember that it was several months after they defeated the true Shedder. He quickly got off his matt/bed and went to look for his sons. He looked in their rooms and his heart stopped when he realized that they weren't there. Before he completely panicked, he heard the door open and saw his sons walk in. He let out a breath of relieve as he heard his sons arguing and laughter. Splinter couldn't help himself as he ran to his sons and embraced each of them in a tight embrace. The boys were left speechless as they returned the embrace.

"Master Splinter, are you alright?" Leo asked worriedly.

Splinter didn't reply. All he could was smile as at his sons. They were alive, and that is all that ever matter to him.
