Disclaimer: I don't own The Undertaker in anyway shape or form nor am I affiliated with him.
A/N: The song within the fic is off of Josh Groban's self tiled debut album and is called "To Where you are". It's an amazingly beautiful song. I had tears in my eyes after hearing it once! Once I listened to it a second time the wheels in my head started turning and I had an idea rolling! Although until I had the title I didn't know who to place in the story. Read/Review. More stories to come soon with more guys from the WWE along with my own creations!
R.I.P.
Who can say for certain
Maybe you're still here
I feel you all around me
You're memories so clear
Glen watched Mark roll around on the grass with his girl's Chasey and Gracie his deep laugh meeting Glen's ears. The injury's had finally caught up to him after his latest run as World Heavyweight Champion and Mark bowed out gracefully after finishing up his WrestleMania streak at a perfect 20-0. He knew Mark felt bad for not being around for his girls when they were younger and he was making up for it now. Glen shook his head slowly. If only she could be here. It would make things perfect.
Deep in the stillness
I can hear you speak
You're still an inspiration
Can it be (?)
That you are my
Forever love
And you are watching over me from up above
Mark wandered through the hallways of his house, unable to sleep again. It had become so quiet in the house since she had left. He would stop every so often, thinking he'd hear her. He knew he didn't though. He didn't know what to do anymore. He had to stay strong for the sake of his girls but he didn't know how much longer he would last. They kept asking questions, just like little girls should but he didn't have any answers for them. He sat down in a chair and closed his eyes trying to fall asleep. He couldn't go back to the room. It didn't feel right anymore.
Fly me up to where you are
Beyond a distant star
I wish upon tonight
To see you smile
If only for awhile to know you're there
A breath away's not far
To where you are
Are you gently sleeping
Here inside my dreams
And isn't faith believing
All power can't be seen
Mark woke up with a smile on his face. He had dreamt of her again. He always felt better in the morning's after dreams with her. It made his day's worth living again. He ran his finger's though his thinning hair and stretched as he stood up cracking his neck as he walked by a mirror. He reached out touching his reflection and smiled. He had a permanent reminder.
As my heart holds you
Just one beat away
I cherish all you gave me every day
'Cause you are my
Forever love
Watching over me from up above
He wrote a note out to Glen saying he was heading out to see her and to take care of the girl's when they got up. He pulled his bike out of the garage. He hadn't ridden in awhile and he missed it. He knew he would enjoy the feel and she would enjoy the sound of the engine revving up. He gunned it and roared down the street.
And I believe
That angel's breath
And love will live on and never leave
He pulled up in front of a local cemetery about 20 minute later and parked his bike. He tied his hair back, just how she used to like it. After much persuasion he had allowed it go back to his natural color of the deep red she loved so much. He headed towards the back of the cemetery and looked down at a headstone.
Fly me up
To where you are
Beyond the distant star
I wish upon tonight
To see you smile
If only for awhile to know you're there
A breath away's not far
To where you are
I know you're there
A breath away's not far
To where you are
" I love you Sara. I miss you." He said softly. He reached down and touched the headstone staring at the engraving:
