A note from the author: This is an original story I made for people to comment and read. I was inspired by several books I had read over the years. So here I am, posting my very first story for you all. I hope you enjoy and love reading. Thanks!

Prologue

Jessica was your average American girl. Or at least the ones you saw on the cover of Vogue and

Seventeen. She had the perfect blonde curls and sun-kissed skin that seemed the glow like that of a

goddess. She was quite slender and stood above her parents. But under the makeup and acne free skin,

she felt trapped in a body that wasn't hers. Yeah, she sounded like herself when she talked aloud or

used her favorite berry bam lip-gloss. But something had changed all the innocent feeling she once

possessed without care. She felt an icy chill swell in her veins and pushed her over the edge of her

sanity. Never had the thoughts of whispers stick to her brain like they had once before. Jessica prayed

for the first time in her perfect life. But she was only given the moral lesson of silence and waiting. Wait

and watch. Speak of nothing and listen. Listen and learn. Die and become dead. Live and survive life.

Scream and feel heard. Be silent and echo the noise
