. Rain Fall Down .

She was already soaked, what harm could some more raindrops do?

Her brother had probably already gotten the rest of the team looking for her, specially Kamio, but Tachibana An didn't want to be found. She just needed a bit of time alone. So she had just ran away as far as she could, without a determined destination, until the rain started and she decided to stop at a park.

The rain kept falling, and the park was deserted, except for her. Just sitting there, enjoying some time alone, away from the rest of humanity.

Ironically enough, he had the same idea. Only difference was that he had brought an umbrella.

"What are you doing here?" His voice broke the constant and comforting sound of the drops of rain crashing against the pavement. She looked up to meet his eyes.

"Atobe?"

"Mind if I join you?" He asked. She moved to allow him to bit by her side.

"You knwo, the bench is all wet, you're going to get your pants soaked."

"Ore-sama is already wet, it doesn't matter. Here, you seem like you could use this more than I do." Atobe said, offering her his umbrella.

"Thankyou." An took the umbrella and used it to cover both their heads. For a while they just sat there, chatting every now and then about whatever subject came up.

"I'm sorry I turned down you..."offer" before."

"?"

"Y'know, when I said you could take me on a date and all..."

"Oh, that...Just forget about it..." He waved it off, trying to change the subject. Atobe Keigo didn't get no for an answer that many times, and when he did, he didn't want to remember it. "...Would it be any different if I asked you the same thing now?"

"...Probably..." She replied, taking her chances and leaning her head against his shoulder.

"Then would you please consider ore-sama's offer, now?"

"No considerations needed. I say yes." He turned his head to look at her, and she looked up at him. When both of them realized, they were kissing in the rain.

Keigo opened his eyes, which he didn't remember closing in the first place, and moved slightly away from her on his seat. "...You don't deserve me."

Upon hearing these words, An stood up in a second. "Y'know, Atobe, one day you'll wake up and you'll see life isn't as easy as it seems. When you're done fooling around, you're gonna open your eyes and you'll notice there's no one underneath you to break your fall. But when you do, I'll be there to see it. Just don't expect me to be there to clean up the mess you made."

She went to leave, but he grabbed her wrist. "That's not what I meant." He got up and kissed her again. "I meant, you deserve so much more. So much more..."

"...No I don't. I have everything I need right here...I'm going home now. Big brother must be worried sick about me. And I'm sorry for snapping at you."

"It's okay. Take this, then." He said, handing her his umbrella. "Just know that I'll come for it eventually. And when I do, I'm going to take you up on that date you promised me."

She smiled, he smiled back, they kissed. And she walked away with his umbrella, leaving him behind, soaking wet, watching her go without a word. Because it meant a lot for Atobe Keigo to tell someone they deserved better than him. After all, behind all that money and luxury, who was Atobe Keigo?

Deep down, he knew, without his parents' fortune, he'd be just another pretty face on the street. But she didn't mind.

There was nothing special about him. But there was indeed something special about her.
