Disclaimer: I own nothing HP related. I wrote that poem one night at midnight. I like it. Take it and die! Lol.

Summery: Draco/unknown female character. Just a little ficlet I was inspired to write when I came across this poem I wrote earlier.

Her silky brown hair falls over her face as she scribbles words down on a spare bit of parchment. Every once in a while, she glances out the open window. It's snowing heavily on the grounds, covering the earth in a deep white blanket. Finally she finishes writing, dropping the quill to her side. She leans back against the chair she has dragged to the window. Suddenly the parchment is snatched out of her hands. A drawling voice reads what she wrote.

The snow falls down

On this sleepy little town

Whirling, swirling, twirling

And I am the only one around

I watch the snow fall by

Against the dark stormy sky

Illuminated by a light

I give a small contented sigh

A feeling of piece is upon me

I'm glad people just let me be

As I watch the snow fall

Only a few others are awake to see

"You know, darling, this really sucks. Maybe you should stay away from poetry." A blonde boy glares down at the girl, whose chin is shaking.

"Maybe I should stay away from you," the girl mutters bitterly.

Draco's eyes flash. "Didn't quite catch that, love?"

The girl sighs, defeated. "I said you're probably right."

Draco smirks. He knows he's right, he always is. He crumples up the bit of parchment and tosses it to the girl, who catches it deftly. Then the boy turns on his heel and walks out.

The girl stands to follow him, but doesn't. Then she moves to throw the paper in the fire, but also doesn't. Instead she smooths it out and places it in her pocket. Maybe, someday, someone will appreciate it. But until then the girl follows her boy friend out of the room.

A/N: Yeah, so that sucked! But I *really* like replies, so flame me, make fun of me, criticize me, whatever.
