RISE THROUGH DARKNESS: DISCONTINUED!

Dear all of my reading fans,

I am sorry to say, but this story has been discontinued for many reasons:

COD 5 isn't played anymore and so I have found It difficult to formulate a good plot on something that has become seen as yesterdays news

COD 6 release

I apologize for this inconvenience and I hope that Infinity Ward doesn't drop another cluster fuck like COD 5 after 6

RANT: When COD 4 was released years earlier, it was seen as the greatest game ever. It contained a very long and stable plot and cast as well as some twists in the campaign and the multiplayer was amazing, albeit some cheap weaponry.

When this was released people knew they were going to release a sequel. However, IW knew that it would not live up to the hype of its predecessor and it would get less positive feedback than it.

So IW had Treyarch put out a sequel before the MW2. This game, known as World at War, took the COD series back to its roots. Now, after the release of COD 4, expectations went through the roof. This was a worry for the sequel of MW, so when they released COD 5, those expectations plunged.

The campaign was not as stable and was rather dry and not centered on the storyline as much as MW1, and neither was the multiplayer, which featured guns foreign to those who played MW1. Treyarch even added Nazi Zombies to relieve this fact, and so people never really complained.

And so, as explained above, expectations dropped and left the door wide open for "The greatest game of the decade." MW2 was the most anticipated game to be released since Halo 3 and GTA IV. It broke records, and THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS of people bought the game.

However, explained in the above, MW2's campaign was not all as good as MW1. It was shorter, there were TOO many plot twists, and with the time lapse of 5 years, you miss a lot of valuable information like, HOW THE FUCK DID PRICE GET DETAINED IN THE GULAG?!?! WHAT HAPPENED TO THE ULTRANATIONALISTS!?!? WHERE/HOW DID SHEPHARD/ MAKAROV COME FROM!?!? In my defense, too much information was left out, and this made the storyline to be very confusing and less in-depth than MW1.

Well, here you have it. I promise to have a new chapter for A Marine and His Rifle tonight.

And, who knows! I may be cooking some other ideas in that head of mine. Stay tuned, and sorry for the wait.
