All my life I've followed the rules.
I did what I was told, and never questioned it.
Even when they hurt me,
I still obeyed.
I thought it would make me happy.
So I continued to follow them all.
But I was wrong.
Now it's different.
Now it's changed.
No longer will I follow the rules of someone else's game.
No second guessing myself any longer.
I will only close my eyes and fly free.
I make my own rules now.
I follow my own desires.
I won't give them what they desire.
They want to control me
but I won't give them that control
I am the writer of my own destiny
and they can't stop me now.
Flying free, so wonderful it is.
I regret nothing here
I am where I belong
defying gravity, and someone else's laws.
I follow myself
not someone else.
And I am happy with what I have caused.
