Toph was stuck. Underwater. In an ice box. How did the young earthbender get herself into such a situation? Well, it all started that morning, when she and Katara were cleaning up camp.

"I can't believe those lazy guys left us to do all of this work!" Katara grumbled. "The least they could do is have a valid excuse."

"They told us they were getting food," Toph said.

"We've got enough possum chicken to last us until next week!" Katara exclaimed. "I don't care if Aang doesn't eat meat! he can scavenge along the way!"

"I agree." Toph voiced. "We shouldn't have to clean up this whole camp by ourselves. Good thing we've got my earthbending to assist, though." With that, she caused the whole ground to shift, tipping their camp onto Appa's saddle, and consequently knocking Katara off of her feet.

Grumbling, Katara got to her feet. "Toph! don't be so careless! Nothing's even folded, and you got all of our bedrolls dusty! I am fed up with you lazy people!

Katara grabbed the bedrolls and brought them to the river. She caused the water to grab and envelope them, and churn around them in order to wash them. "Water is the better help, I think," she said.

Toph crossed her arms and glared at a spot about two feet away from where katara's face actually was.

"You could use a bath, yourself," Katara pointed out. With that, she caused an enormous wave to splash down on Toph's head.

"Hey!" The earthbender cried, angrily. She wrung out her green shirt and began stomping toward Katara through patches of mud, her footsteps shaking the ground. She scooped up and great handful of the sloppy stuff, and chucked it with deadly precision at Katara's face. Katara, who did not expect the onslaught, but whose reactions were fast, put up her hands and tried to bend it away from her. However, she only managed to divert the water, and recieved a facefull of dry dust.

"Ow! My eyes!" she shrieked. "Toph, why, you little..." Katara chucked the nearest thing at Toph, which, unfortunately, happened to be a rock. "Ouch!" she exclaimed again as the rock rebounded and hit her in the forehead. "I am sick and tired of you! You're grounded!" Katara screamed.

Toph smirked. "Good. I like the ground." Just then, Katara had an epiphany.

"No," she said, "You're 'Rivered,'" Toph's blank eyes widened.

"You wouldn't..." she began, just as a giant wave swept her off the ground. before she knew it, she found herself blindly occupying an ice prison, much like Aang had, under the river. It was a box. A fishtank...for the pleasure of the fish. Toph could imagine them laughing at her through the ice, which she didn't know was opaque.

Back at the camp, Aang and Sokka had just arrived with a basket of fresh fruit and vegetables they bought off of a nearby village. "Where is Toph?" Aang asked, bounding up energetically.

"Yeah, we need to get going. We've wasted too much time this morning," Sokka pointed out, loading his basket onto Appa's saddle.

Katara leaned against a tree and looked smug. "She's been...Rivered." Sokka and Aang looked at each other, surprised, then looked over at the River. sure enough, they could see a large mass under the water.

"You didn't..." Sokka said in awe.

"You know, you really did inherit some of your father's humor," Aang said. "Rivered..."

Katara just smirked.
