Leia froze in terror as she realised what was happening. Both of her children were strong in the force, and they would only become stronger together. One would have to go- or their power could become strong, dark and used for the worst.
A single tear fell from her eye as she swung the screaming child over her shoulder.
"I'm taking her to Jakku." She told Han, "It's secluded and safe: nobody will find out her power there."
Ben reached out his hand to his sister, before she was pulled away and the Falcon's door snapped shut.
He clung to his father, "Where is Rey going dad?" Asked the dark haired boy.
"Far away" replied Han "And she's not coming back anytime soon."
The young hero cried out in anger and sank to his knees in tears.
Not far away, a boy dreamed of becoming the next Jedi. He admired their power, agility, and courage. But he could never be a Jedi, for he had no power, poor agility and very little courage. As well as that, he had no name.
"Move it soldier! Stop staring into space or you'll be no use against the resistance!" Yelled the general.
"Y...yes sir, sorry sir." Replied the boy.
"No time for apologising, get that helmet on and start target practice! I'm not having you letting down the whole FN squadron!" He screeched as he punched the boy in the shoulder.
FN2187 grabbed his blaster and set to work. 'Is it only me who can hit these targets?' He thought.
The boy glanced at FN2186, who had grown to be like a brother to him. Those long nights and days where they would make each other smile made life nearly worth living. All the generals saw potential in him and everyone in the FN squadron could tell he was going to be some sort of commander or general one day. He was smart, manipulative, demanding and fierce.
'He would make a great Resistance commander' thought FN2187 as he fell asleep that night. But FN2186 would never be in the Resistance. They hadn't brainwashed him properly when he got here. He remembered how his father in the resistance had treated him like filth. When he was dragged away from his hometown, it felt like a pleasure, not a punishment. It was a chance to become a hero and get revenge.
When Leia returned home from Jakku, Han was lying propped up against the wall, blood trickling from his head. She began to run over to him, but something stopped her.
"Where is she?" Grumbled a voice.
"Wh...who?" Stammered Leia
"You know who." Replied Ben, tightening his hand into a fist and dragging his mother into the air. "My sister."
"B...B...Ben, stop!" Cried the woman who was so used to being a hero.
The boy ignored her.
"Tell me where she is!" He yelled, pointing to his unconscious father, "or you'll get it too."
"Ben, whatever you're trying to do, it's not sa-"
"Shut up. You can't just take my sister away somewhere where I'll never see her again!"
"That's not what ha-"
"Really? Well guess what? Big man over here says she's far away, and she's not coming back anytime soon."
"Oh Han, no..."
"Take me to her!!" The boy demanded.
"I can't, it's not sa-"
With one swift motion, Ben threw his mother against the wall, and she fell down, unconscious, beside her husband.
