A/N: As I am waiting for the season finale to air later tonight, this short scene came to me.

Knock Knock Knock "Penny"
Penny: "Hi Sheldon, what's up?"
Sheldon: "Hi Penny."
Sheldon walked into Penny's apartment with his notebook in hand and proceeded to sit on the couch. Confused by Sheldon's visit Penny closed the door and looked over at him. Sheldon patted a spot on the couch next to him gesturing Penny to sit down.
Following Sheldon's directions, Penny took a seat on the couch, still confused and unsure for the reason behind Sheldon's visit.
Without saying a word, Sheldon took Penny's hand in his and cleared his throat.
Sheldon: "I love you."
Penny blinked her eyes a few times, shocked by Sheldon's words. Sheldon let go of Penny's hand and reached in his pocket for a bottle of Purel and proceeded to squirt it in his hands.
Managing to finally speak.
Penny: "Wow…. Really?"
Sheldon stuffed the bottle of Purel back in his pocket, realizing that Penny was speaking to him he looked back up at her.
Sheldon: "Oh god no! I was practicing for when I see Amy later tonight. I was practicing with Leonard, but he said that it's much different when you say it to a girl."
Sheldon picked up his notebook and jotted down a few notes.
Sheldon: "I'm trying to get in as much practice as possible. There's something about that vixen Amy Farrah Fowler that just renders me silent when I stare into those green eyes."
Sheldon shook his head as if trying to shake away the daydream that threatened to consume him. Sheldon stood up and headed for the door.
Sheldon: "Thanks Penny, you're a champ. Raj and Howard will be over soon, you know what they say, practice makes perfect."
