"He will be alone. Hogwarts needs you" Albus shouted to Minerva.
At that instant, Minerva felt the tears welling up in her eyes as she fought her emotions. After everyone has left, Minerva lingered a little while longer in Albus's office, trying to
soak up the scent of him.
"Are you still there, Albus?" She asked.
A silence greeted her.
Then she felt a hard object being pressed onto her palm. Looking down, she realized that it was his wedding ring.
"Wear this. I promise, my love, I will be back for this." She heard Albus soft voice just behind her. With a soft whish, he was gone.
Minerva sank into a chair, trying to figure out the events of that night. She silently figured the patterns on the ring as she took out her matching one.
Yes. She smiled slightly. Albus Dumbledore would be back.
