Sara watched uneasily as Gil pulled a high carbon stainless steel flat ground chef's knife out of the drawer to begin preparing vegetables for the stir-fry they were cooking together.
"You are making me nervous," Sara said as he sliced, diced, julienned the potatoes, carrots, peppers, broccoli, garlic and other fresh produce from their trip to the farmer's market.
He looked at her pointedly over the top of his glasses; they had slid down his nose as he worked.
She pantomimed talking on the telephone. "Yeah, it's me, Brass. I got a dangerous 413-A in my kitchen."
They laughed together.
