The best friends phone call

AC Slater and Zack Morris may not always seen eye to eye. They fought alot in high school over silly things. Yet they always remained the best of friends. When Zack and Kelly decide to marry AC doesn't think its a great idea but will support them. He knows that someone else needs to show support too and maybe a phone call will change everything.

I was watching SBTB wedding movie and I wondered what AC said to Zack's dad. This is what I came up with and I hope you enjoy this short one-shot.

"Hello?"

"Hey Mr. M, it's AC" Slater greets.

Mr. Morris gives a small sigh. "Hello AC, I am guessing you're calling about Zack" he said.

"Yes sir, Zack and Kelly are going to wed tomorrow in the chapel" AC replies.

"Well then, I hope it goes well"

"How can you say that sir?" AC asks.

"Slater, you don't understand…"

"You're right sir, I don't understand" Slater interrupts.

"You know their insane AC! Their way too young to marry and I can't believe you aren't talking him out of this!" Mr. Morris snaps.

AC gives a small chuckle. "That's funny sir. I have tried telling him it's insane but he won't listen" AC replies.

Mr. Morris gives a long sigh. "He's making a big mistake AC" he says.

"Maybe, but you're making the bigger one sir" AC answers. "I agree with you sir but I love Kelly and Zack too much to not support them"

"I love my son AC!" Mr. Morris snaps.

"Then come out here and celebrate your only son's big day sir. You'll regret it if you don't" AC answers.

"I can see why Zack calls you his best friend" Mr. Morris answers and AC gives another chuckle.

"Zack and I have had our stupid fights but in the end we always have each other's back sir. That's what it means to be a family. I hope I see you at their wedding sir" AC answers.

"Thank you for calling me AC" Mr. Morris replies.

"Your welcome sir" AC responds and they hang up. AC hopes its enough to get his best friends parents to come.
