Dear Tai,
I miss you. I love you. I can't wait for summer to come so I can be with you. You don't even know how much I miss you. I've made some new friends at Cambridge, but they aren't as great as you and the other DD's. We have to have a DD reunion this summer when everyone is back at home. Did your Mom make you cut your hair? I sure hope you say no. I like your hair the way it is. Scratch that, I love your hair the way it is. I can't wait to see you again. You aren't going out with anyone else, are you? It's not that I don't trust you, but a girl needs some reassurance! If you don't love me, you can go out with other girls. Heck, you can go out with other girls even if you DO love me!. I want you to be able to go on double dates and go to the movies with someone because I can't be there, no matter how much I want to be. I love you. I'm so lucky to have you. You, the sweet, soccer playing jock. Me, the girl who's barely passing math. And I love you, and I think you love me. I am so the luckiest person on earth. I can't wait to see you this summer. Can we go on a picnic? I can't wait until I see you! First you'll meet my eyes, then you'll smile your lopsided smile and open your arms just in time for me to run into them. Your arms, oh your arms. That's one of the few places I feel safe. Your arms are so gentle, and protective. And the curves of my body just fit into yours. I love you.
I miss you so much!
Your faithful girlfriend,
Sora
Sora read over the letter once in her head before printing it. I really do love him. He's the best thing that ever happened to me. He was always there for me, Matt just couldn't be. His career got in the way. And I never felt this way towards him. I never loved him. I am sorry though, that I led him on. I wish now that I hadn't. Sora and Matt had gone out for about 9 months in freshman year, but Sora didn't really love him or anything. She wasn't that serious about him. Then Tai asked her out. She had been waiting for that for years, she was glad he finally worked up the nerve. Right now, where they stood in their relationship they couldn't love each other more. Or so they thought.
Sora took the letter our of the printer and squirted the envelope with her favorite perfume before carefully placing the letter in it. She left it on the desk with a sticky note that said, Note to self: pick up stamps, send letter to Tai.
