Danielle had always loved the bedtime stories her Granddad would tell her about his friend Steve Rogers. How he was rejected for the second world war military because of his health and physical problems, but that all chance when he had been to see her granddad´s exhibition and he was recruited for a special program that turned him into the hero that everyone knew and loved, and how he had died saving everyone from a weapon of mass destruction.
It had always made Danielle wanted to be just like Captain America, but after her grandparents were killed in a car crash it just seems like a silly childhood dream.
At the age of 19 years old, she had enrolled in college and she didn´t know why, but she had signed up for a history class and a few months into the year her professor were telling the class about the second world war and how big of a role Captain America and his commandos had played against the Germans and Hydra, and what she had once through was a silly childhood dream was no so silly anymore.
But everything chanced when Danielle turned 21, she had told her dad that she didn´t want to work with him at Stark Industry and it had ended in an screaming math between father and daughter. Danielle walked of her dad´s house not knowing that 9 years would go by until they would see each other again.
At the age of 22 she was introduced to a man named Nick Fury and that is how she found out about S.H.I.E.L.D. and what surprised her the most was finding out that her grandfather and godmother was the founding members of S.H.I.L.D.
At the age of 27 Danielle had been an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. for the past four years and she through she had seen everything, but she quickly realized that she had only seen a small part of what was out there. Two mouths before her birthday, she along side Phil Coulson was send to Mexico to investigate the strange thing that had fall out of the sky and a short time into the investigation they were introduced to a man that claimed to be the god Thor and being a history lover Danielle believed him after he had told her everything he knew about the gods.
Danielle could not convince Coulson that that Thor was telling them the truth so she when behind S.H.I.L.D.s back and helped Dr. Erik Selvig to free Thor and for that Danielle found herself on S.H.I.E.L.D.s wanted list.
During her time away from S.H.I.E.L.D. Danielle became good friends with Thor and the others and along side her new friends she tried to help Thor make a home here on earth cause he could not return home to Asgard because he was in exiled. But a few mouths later, Thor´s brother Loki send the destroyer to earth to kill Thor and everyone that were helping him and that if how Danielle meet Sif and the warriors.
Thor offered himself over to Loki in hops that he would leave earth and his new friends alone, but in doing so Thor was almost killed. Thor´s sacrifice proved him worthy of the Hammer once more and he was transformed into the Thor that every kid knew from the stories they had heard.
Thor defeat the destroyer and saved them all from dying by the hand of Loki. Soon after Thor returned to back home to Asgard to confront Loki and Danielle´s name was cleared and she was allowed to return home.
Soon after returning home Danielle´s dad went missing during his visit to Iraqi. Danielle reached out to an old friend of her dad´s Col. James Rhodes and he had told her there was a good chance that he was already dead, but Danielle would not give up hope cause she knew her dad better then anyone, he would find away, he always did.
A few mouth later and there was no new leads so she took in upon her self to go to Iraqi and bring her dad back home, she had her bag packed when she received a call, telling her that her dad was alive and on his way home.
Danielle swore to herself that she would fix the mess between the two of them, but she never got the chance cause she was sent on a mission and she returned a few weeks later and that is when she learned about a man that were flying in the sky in an iron suit and it turned out that the man in the suit was non other then her dad.
New York 2009.
Danielle had just returned from a mission over seas and she was dead on her feet. All she wanted was a glass off wine a hot shower, but the second she opened the door to her apartment she knew something was off.
She reached for her weapon, but before she even had a chance to grab a hold of it she was pushed from behind, making her fall onto the floor and she let a hiss fall from her lips as she felt someone grabbing her by the hair, pulling her up so she was kneeling on the floor.
"Danielle Stark."
"Who wants to know?" Danielle asked as she looked up at to see a man was standing in front of her and that made her realized that there was at list two men in her apartment.
"Danielle Stark." The man asked as he got down on his knees so he was face to face whet her.
"Wrong floor." She said as she quickly looked around the room to see if she could spot any more people and the second she looked back she was hit in the face.
"You a sassy one aren´t you?" The man said with a laugh.
"You have no idea." Danielle said as she spit blood on his shirt.
"Wrong move." The man said as he looked down at his shirt.
"You are so right." Danielle said as she reach her hand down to her shoe and pulled out a knife and she slammed in into his shoe, making the man scream out in pain.
Danielle opened her hand and pushed it against the man´s throat and he fall down onto the floor as he tried to breath.
"You bitch!" The other man yelled out as he pulled her onto her feet and throws her against the wall." What do you thing your daddy will do when he find out that you work for S.H.I.E.L.D.?" The man asked as he pushed her head against the wall a second time, he is about to pushed her head against the wall again, but she manages to pull away by hitting him in the stomach with her elbow breaking one of his ribs.
Danielle twisted her his arm as she pushed his head up against the wall." Who are you!?" She yelled out.
"I will tell you nothing."He said as he tried to move out of her reach.
"Fine." Danielle said as she grabbed him by the hair and smashed his face hard against the wall before she takes a step back and she sees the man turning around and a frown finds it way onto her face as the man starts to laugh out loud.
"You might kill us, but we are not the only one out there that wants you and your dad to suffer." The man said as he kept on laughing.
"Fuck you." Danielle said as she punched him so hard that he blacked out.
She turned around and is meet with a fist to her stomach and it made her fall to the ground and the other man once again gets down on his knees in front of her as he hits her again.
"They said to return you unharmed, but fuck it." He said as he hit her again and again, making her the back of her head bounce against the floor with each punch she is getting.
She turns her head and she sees her weapon laying on the floor beside her, reaching out her hand out to reach her weapon with the last of her strenght, she got a hold of weapon and she moved her arm up and fired it into his stomach making him fall to the ground beside her.
Danielle rolled onto her stomach as she tried to get her breathing under control, but the feeling agony as the air leaves her lungs makes her cry and she moved onto her back as she moved a hand over her heart feeling her heart beat faster and faster and she didn´t know how long she had been laying on the floor when she all of the sudden hears someone calling out her name.
"Danni open your eyes!" A woman´s voice yells out in fear." Danni open your eyes!"
Danielle opens her eyes to see one of her oldest friends staring back at her with fear in her eyes." Nat..." Is all she get out as she starts to cough and she cried out from the pain.
"You are going to be okay." Natasha said as she placed a hand on Danielle´s cheek.
"Nat!" A man´s voice yelled from behind her.
"Call the medic team now!" She yells out as she turns her head towards the door, just as a man runs inside the apartment door.
"Oh dear god." The man said as he sees Danielle´s beating body on the floor.
"Now Clint." Natasha yells as she turns back to Danielle and her eyes goes wide as she sees Danielle closing her eyes."No. No. no! Danni stay with me."
"We will never stop coming for her." Natasha hears a voice saying, turning her head towards the sound of the voice, she sees a man sitting with his back against the wall.
"What did you say?"
"We are Hydra, we..." Was all he got out as Natasha pulled out her weapon and shot him in the head.
"They should be here soon." Clint said as he got down onto his knees beside Natasha." How is she doing?" Clint asked with a sad looking on his face as he looked over the woman that was like a sister to him.
"It´s not good." Natasha said as she looked over at the man she had just shot." They were Hydra."
"What?" Clint asked as he looked over at the man that was staring back at them with dead eyes."
"He said that they would never stop coming for her and he said the name Hydra."
"This is not good." Clint said, running a hand through his hair.
"They can´t know that she is alive cause if the do, they will never stop coming for her." Natasha said with a cold look on her face.
"I know, but that is not a call you or i can make." Clint said as he turned his head towards the apartment door as he hear foot steps running towards the door.
A few weeks later.
"We gather here to day to bid farewell to our friend, daughter Danielle Marie Stark."
A larges crowd sat there staring at the coffin that was covered with white, pink and red roses, but most eyes were on Tony Stark who were staring at his daughters coffin with tears in his eyes.
"Into your arms we commend her spirit. Take her to yourself and give her safe haven." The minister said as he looked over at Tony.
Tony started at the coffin. He through of his baby girl laying inside, shacking his head cause he could not believe that his baby girl was gone.
"Tony, It´s time." A woman´s voice said as she rubbed her hand up and down his shoulder.
"I can´t." Tony said as he turned his head to the side so he could look at the woman by his side." I never got to say goodbye to her." Tony said as a tear fall from his eye.
"I never got to tell her how much i loved her. She will lever know, Pepper."
"She knew how much you loved her Tony." Pepper said as she turned her head towards the coffin." She knew." Pepper said as she tried to hold back her own tears.
"I am going to find out who did this." Tony said as he quickly stood up taking a deep breath before he walked towards the coffin.
"Hey baby girl it is me your dad." Tony said as he looked down at the white rose he held in his hand." I...I...i am so sorry i was not there for you when you needed me the most." Tony said as he placed the white rose on top of the coffin." I love you my sweet girl now and for always." Tony said, placing his sunglasses over his eyes as he turned and walked away and with each step he took his heart broke more and more cause the one thing he had lived for was no longer apart of this world.
A woman had been standing a few feet away watching everything that were going on and her heart broke as she saw her dad standing there talking to her to her coffin.
" Do you think he is going to be okay?" She asked as she turned her head to the side so she could look at the man that were standing beside her.
"No, but we will make sure he is looked after." The man promised her.
"I don´t know if i can do this to him." She said as they walked towards the coffin she was supposed to be laying in.
"You know why." The man said as the both looked down at the white rose that was laying between all the pink and red once.
"To protect him from Hydra."
"And to protect you as well."
"Nick.."
"You know this is our best move if Hydra think you are dead."
"They don´t have anything on him and they will leave him alone." Danielle said as she picked up the white rose.
"Are you ready?" Nick asked as he held out a case file.
"I am ready." Danielle said as she took the file into her hand.
"I guess this is goodbye for now."
"I guess so." Danielle said with a sad smile.
"Take care of yourself you hear."
"I always do." she said as she turned and walked away.
"You really thing she is going to be okay?" Natasha asked as she walked towards Nick.
"That night inside the apartment Danielle Stark died and a Rose white was born." Nick said as he to watched Danielle walk along side the headstones.
"That is not an answer." Natasha said as she turned her head so she could look at Nick.
"What do you think?"
Natasha watched her best friend turn around and smiled at her before turning back around." She is." Natasha said with a sad look on her face cause she had just lost the one of the two people she really loved in this world.
