Disclaimer: If I owned Doctor Who, Donna would of never left! So nope!
The Doctor stepped out of his TARDIS positively beaming with glee at the chance to see his old friend Juponadroh and help with the peace negotiations.
His face fell when he discovered that his TARDIS had landed in a back ally in 22nd century London.
He had half a mind to go back in and set the right coordinates to see his friend, but his curiosity won out and he leisurely strolled down the back ally toward the busy London streets.
The sound of a gunshot had him sprinting down the ally towards the sound.
"Oi! What the heck do you think your doing!" The Doctor shouted at the clearly drunk man as he pulled the gun out of his grasp.
He suddenly ran over to check on the young girl who looked to be about seventeen who had collapsed grabbing at her stomach, taking mind to throw the gun on top of a nearby buildings roof as he ran over.
The girl looked up at him with pleading gold eyes.
Wait, GOLD!
The Doctor stepped back in confusion as the gold light suddenly enveloped the girl and changed her form.
The girl that had previously had flaming red hair and bright green eyes, now suddenly stood up and looked down at her now raven hair, pale skin, and new delicate features.
Instead of looking confused, the girl sighed and asked herself, "How am I supposed to explain this to mum?"
The Doctor was having a minor freak out moment when her realized the girl was staring at him with curiosity shining in her bright grey eyes, "Who are you?" she suddenly plucked up the courage to ask.
The Doctor composed himself long enough to answer, "The Doctor. Who are you?"
The girl's eyes widened as she suddenly mouthed 'Doctor' and then quickly responded with, "THE Doctor? Wait, never mind. Well, I'm not sure who I am now, but I used to be Alice Noble! Well, I guess I still am Alice but I don't know who's body this is. THE Doctor?"
The Doctor winced as a flood of sad memories washed over him at the word Noble and he suddenly realized what was going on, "Alice, would your mum's name happen to be Donna?"
I know its short but its an idea that I've had floating in my head for a while that has progressively gotten bigger. It has gotten so large that its forced me to write this and hopefully the next chapter shall be up soon!
