Disclaimer: Obviously I don't own Naruto as much as I wish I did *sigh* Oh, well.
"NEJI HYUUGA!" A voice boomed as Team Gai halted in their training. They turned toward the sound.
A girl who must have been at least 14 with brown hair walked up to the long haired still genin. She jabbed a finger at his chest as she yelled, "What the hell is your problem?"
Neji stared at her for a moment before opening his mouth to answer.
"No, I'll tell you what your problem is! You just think you're soooo much better than everyone else! You put down poor Lee over there just he wasn't born with as much god given talent as you!" She said pointing at Lee who was staring at her in wonder. "The fact that he worked so hard to get where he is right now makes him better than you in so many ways! And seriously even with those magnificent," she hissed this word sarcastically, "Byakugan eyes you still can't see what the whole village sees! You're as bad as Naruto with Hinata! Speaking of Hinata how exactly did you decide that she's to blame for everything that's wrong with your life! She is quite possibly the sweetest person in the whole entire world and she has never done anything remotely mean to you and yet you insisted on nearly killing her! How dare you?" She fixed him with a glare and looked almost ready to slap him before her gaze softened.
"If only you would learn that fate isn't everything and get over yourself even a little bit you would find that you would be so much happier," She smiled softly. Then she sent a bright grin toward the rest of Team Gai before skipping off in the direction she had come.
"What..." was all Tenten could say.
"SHE BURNS BRIGHT WITH THE POWER OF YOUTH!" Lee yelled, his eyes shining.
"YES, SHE IS A BLOOMING FLOWER OF YOUTHFULNESS!" Gai-sensei agreed.
Tenten and Neji rolled their eyes at their teammates, though Neji could still hear the words of the mysterious girl echoing in his head.
AN: No offence meant to any Neji fans. I too am a Neji fan but I was just watching the Chunin Exam episodes and Neji's attitude was seriously grating on my nerves. So this isn't really for the entertainment of others, though it would be nice if I achieved that as well, it was more for the purpose of me getting my pent up frustration out. So if you don't like it, I'm sorry, but please don't tell me so.
