A/N: Hello.
This is my first Heavy Rain fic, it's just a one-shot but
please tell me if Blake and Norman are OOC; I'm not sure how well I got their personalities, if at all.
Reviews are always appreciated, enjoy!

A weak thumping in his head and hands trembling lightly.
Norman Jayden groaned. It was going to be one of those days.
But just because he wasn't feeling his best, that didn't mean the origami killer would stop for him to have a rest day.
Carter Blake nudged him in the ribs. "You're sweating, Jayden. What's the matter, you're not turning into a pussy on me. Or, more of a pussy."
Norman stifled an irritated growl in the back of his throat. "I'm fine. Let's just check out the crime scene and get back to the station."
Blake shrugged and took the lead, Norman tailed.
He could feel the beads of sweat roll down his face and the trembling of his hands was becoming more apparent. He needed to wash his face.
Fuck, how come today of all days has to be dry? It's never dry here!
Norman held his hands tight and he felt a familiar sensation in his nose.
I could just take the trip quickly while Blake isn't looking. It'd be the last time, no one would ever know.
His nose began to bleed and he held his hand up to it, trying to stifle the flow. "Shit!"
He turned away just as Blake turned back. "Jayden?"
Norman wiped the blood from his face and shook it from his hand.
"Jayden!"
He turned back only to be greeted by the scowling face of Carter Blake. "What the fuck happened to you?"
"I, uh..."
That's when the dizziness overtook him. "I need to sit for a moment."
Rather than sit, the FBI agent dropped to the muddy ground, breathing heavily. His shaking was more obvious than ever and he was paling out.
Blake rolled his eyes. "Fucking hell..." He got down on his knees next to his sickly counterpart and rummaged around in his jacket for a moment. "Here." He passed him a bottle of water.
"Thanks." Uttered Norman. He poured the bottle over his face before taking a large gulp.
He offered the bottle back to Blake.
"Keep it." He murmured as he stood up.
Norman remained on the ground for a few minutes until he regained composure.
He stood up and tried to avoid his partner's eye... Unsuccessfully.
The glare Blake was giving demanded an explanation.
Norman looked at his feet. "Let's just get this over with." And he sped off ahead.
Blake narrowed his eyes.
I know what's wrong with him. I'm not fucking stupid.
