A.N.: I wrote this for Flourish's challenge. It isn't very good, but hey, I tried. Have fun reading and please review. I like mail too!
Disclaimer: Professors Snape and Sprout, Slytherin house, Death Eaters, and all related belong to J.K. Rowling. I own the plot and Professor Sprout. Flourish owns her challenge.
"You're too bitter."
Of course he was. How could he be anything else after Sandra? So many years ago, yet seeming so recent.
His seventh year. He was in love with Sandra Sprout. He'd sacrificed everything for her: his family disowned him, Slytherin house scorned him. But it was worth it.
He walked to her, and asked her to the ball. She looked at him: "No, Severus...sorry, but...I don't like boys."
It nearly killed him. It drove him to be a Death Eater. Sandra could only love her horticulture, not him.
Hadn't he a right to be bitter?
