Check-up
They sat on the couch with their hands entwined together. As they waited for their names to be called. Cecily squeezed her lover's hand and looked up and her then to her stomach. Laying her other hand on her extended stomach, she calmed down. Cecily rubbed smooth circles while Enola squeezed her hand. Enola leaned down and kissed her. It was filled with love and pride. Leaning away, Enola said,
"I love you."
"I love you too."
A receptionist walked in the waiting room.
"Ms. Alistair, the doctor is ready for you."
They looked at each other and Enola grinned, as they got up and started following the nurse. She led them to the doctor who made Cecily lay down on the cot and lifted part of her shirt. Feeling around her stomach, the doctor smiled and said,
"Congratulations, you have a healthy baby girl. I am sure that your husband will be proud."
Cecily and Enola grinned and said, "…Yes… my husband."

Sorry for such a super short story. I haven't written a fanfiction for this book yet so I have to get used to it. Cecily and Enola are in love, but everyone thinks they are just friends.
