Earth was not happy. In fact, she was depressed. Global warming? Terrible. World peace? Forget it. All her dozens of children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, etc. were always fighting! Not a single one cared that she was suffering.

Every day, it got worse. Her head ached from Europes horrific economy. Her stomach was bloated from the fast food and obesity rates. She had a rash from the holes in the atmosphere. Her hair was faded and rapidly falling out due to deforestation. She had a whooping cough from the pollution and smog. Her ears were ringing from gunfire and noise pollution. And the worst part? Her heart ached, because she hated watching all of her offspring in pain.

Earth decided to do something about this. She called together her siblings- North America, South America, Oceania, Asia, Europe, Africa, and Antarctica- and they had a discussion. They all agreed that they were in a poor state. Earth had never seen Antarctica frown, and had never seen Africa cry. Her heart ached even more.

That night, the entire world had heavy rainfall. Earths tears couldnt be contained anymore. The next day, the countries all across the world had conference with their continents. For the first time in decades, the world was in unison. Earth was so happy that rainbows crowded out the thunderstorms she had cried.

For nearly a decade, the Earth began to heal. Her migraine lessened, her bloating went down. The rash had nearly cleared up, nd her hair was once again shiny and full. Her cough was gone and the ringing in her ears was very minor. And her heart didnt quite ache so badly.

Just when Earth though she was cured, all hell broke loose. The Middle East and Northern Africa were having identity crises frequently. Greece was at a devastational low economical point. Americans were overweight to the point that they couldnt stand. A gallon of gasoline cost twelve dollars in Italy. Ice caps were melting crazily. The Amazon Rainforest was nearly depleted. The only good thing was the oil discovery in Ireland.

Earth wasnt depressed anymore. She was downright furious.

The eight siblings once again met. They had to do something! Europe had never looked to derelict, her clothes and hair shabby. Earth put her foot down. If they couldnt shape up on their own, she was going to force them. And she knew exactly how to do it.
