Chapter 1: The plan
Ron was tying the shiny diamond ring to Crookshank's collar with a pink silky ribbon. He was about to go on a date where he would finally propose to the love of his life, Hermione Granger. He had been planning his proposal for months, and tonight he was finally going to do it. Ron's plan was to take Hermione on a picnic under the stars. He would open the basket, which crookshanks would be in and when Hermione picked up crookshanks she would see the ring and Ron would pop the question. Ron put a very cranky Crookshanks in the bag, and he was on his way.
"Ready to go?" Ron asked Hermione as he was picking her up.
Hermione was wearing a Kind Red Maxi dress with pearl earrings and a cute little necklace charm from Luna that "Kept away the Nargles."
"Yeah." Hermione said "Ready as I'll ever be."
