If he is Darkness, she is Light.

If he is the shrouded soul that traipses fright

She is the one to walk the path bright.

If she is the Sun, he is the Moon.

If petals blossom in her June

They wither where he has them strewn.

He is evil; she is good.

She embodies virtue, and if he only could

She'd be a love that he'd thus far withstood.

He is death where she is life.

She is peace where he means strife.

She is the shield where he is the knife.

She was love when he loved love.

For on one day, he saw a dove

And longed to fly the sky thereof.

But if she is the Sun, he is the Moon

And their eclipse in a summer noon

Proved to be her life's final tune.

If he is Darkness, she was Light.

But now the world is cloaked in Night

With this once Light no longer in sight.

A/N: I love rhyming but this got pretty bad towards the end. If you liked it (or didn't, which is also cool), please feel free to leave me your thoughts in the review!
