Lusa
Lusa woke up. It was getting very bright. Dawn was almost here, and Lusa needed to find something to eat. Fulfilling, anyway. She had been eating fish a lot lately, and still disliked the taste. For her, grubs and berries were the best. Toklo soon woke up after she did.
"Lusa? Nngh, Good morning. You're usually the last to wake up, with your shenanigans."
"Shenanigans? Oh, you're asking for it. Here I come! Rawr!"
Lusa pounced playfully onto Toklo.
"Oh no you don't! Hup!"
In a second or less, Lusa was being held up in the air by Toklo's paws. They felt... comforting. She didn't know Toklo was this strong. She felt safer with Toklo then she did with Kallik, or Yakone, or Ujurak, or even her own mother, Aisha. She wondered why.
"Hello? Lusa? Don't fall asleep. You just woke up!"
"Uh... oh! Right, er..."
"Are you ok? You seem lost in your thoughts. What are you thinking about?"
"Nothing! I... nothing..." She couldn't tell him. Yet.
"Well, tell me if you need something." Toklo sat her down. Their chatter woke Kallik and Yakone.
Kallik screwed her eyes. "What's happening?"
"Those two were playing before we woke up, I guess." Then it struck her. She loved Toklo, as... more than a friend. She would keep it to herself for now.
"Since we're awake, let's get moving." said Toklo in a worried tone. Lusa has known him for a while now. She knows his emotion of every sentence.
"I have nothing better to do." Yakone retorted. He's not the politest of bears. The group started heading towards the land of flat-faces and firbeasts. With land as tall as mountains and thin as trees.
