Boys Will Steal Your Car

It was a starry night in Springwood. Quentin Smith was waiting outside the Springwood Diner waiting for Nancy Holbrook to drive him home in her new silver Audi. Quentin knew how much Nancy loved that Audi. She had saved up the money for about a couple of years, the whole time having her eyes set on that Audi. He remembered the joy that lit up in her eyes when she finally claimed it as her own.

Quentin was starting to get tired. He was still a little cautious on sleeping ever since the nightmares of Freddy Krueger, but Quentin knew he had nothing to worry about anymore. He checked his watch; it would be about thirty minutes before Nancy's shift was over. He closed his heavy eyelids and fell asleep.

In Quentin's dream, he found that in the parking lot there was nothing but the silver Audi. He looked through the windows of the diner; nobody was inside. He soon heard Freddy eerie laughter fill the whole outside.

Freddy's dark and shadowy figure soon stood before him. "Nice car, ain't it Quentin," Freddy chuckled.

"Uh…yeah," Quentin replied, backing away from the figure that was standing before him.

'Then why not take it for a joy ride?" Freddy asked.

"No way," Quentin replied. "Nancy worked hard for this car, and I'm not gonna do anything to screw it up."

"Is Nancy the only person you ever think about, Quentin? Why not think about what you want for once?"

Quentin stepped closer to the car. "I guess it would be kind of fun."

"See, now you're getting it."

Quentin climbed into the car. Nancy was running late that morning, so she accidentally left the car unlocked and her keys in the ignition. When Quentin was about to start the car, Freddy shoved him to the passengers seat.

"I'm driving," he growled.

"And just why do you think you have the right to do that?" Quentin asked.

"First of all it was my idea in the first place, you just enforced the idea. Second of all, I think I have more experience as a driver than you do. So unless you want to bring the car back as a heap of crushed metal, I suggest you let me drive."

Quentin had nothing to say to this. He reluctantly handed the keys to Freddy. Freddy started the Audi. The first few miles weren't too exciting; they just drove around town. But as soon as they were out of town, Freddy hit the accelerator and they were driving about one hundred and twenty miles an hour.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Quentin asked.

"Taking the Audi for a joy ride," Freddy replied.

"Are you insane? You could kill me!"

"What did you think I was trying to do?"

Quentin grabbed the steering wheel and tried to throw Freddy out of the car at once, but that proved unsuccessful. Freddy had swerved the Audi into a tree breaking the windshield and crushing, bending, and denting the front of the car.

"Oh, you're in deep shit now," Freddy chuckled.

Quentin had awakened, but not where he was before. He was inside of Nancy's destroyed Audi with his seatbelt on and the headlights on. Quentin was unharmed, except for some small scratches. He knew that everybody had heard the crash because there was a huge crowd outside and Quentin saw that Nancy was at the front of it when he saw her expression go fro worried to enraged.

"What the fuck did you do to my new car, Quentin?" she asked in anger.

Quentin knew his life was hanging by a thread at this point. "Uh…I know a guy that can fix this," he said pointing to the Audi. "I'll see you tomorrow." As Quentin ran off he knew that this wasn't a good explanation for what happened because he only heard one loud yell form Nancy as he ran…

"QUENTIN SMITH!"

The End. Please R&R.
