Ginny Weasley desires a younger sibling.
That is what Ginny Weasley would see when she looks in the Mirror of Erised. She sees someone that is younger than her.
She hates being the youngest of the Weasley family for may reasons one of those reason being nothing she gets is ever new. She always get's things that he brothers have had before her, well with the exception of clothes. Though even when she was young she would wear clothes that had once belonged to her brother. Ginny know that even if she did have another sibling her things would still never be new but she wouldn't be the last to get things like she is now.
She hates that she always has to try and better her brother in everything. She hates it because she has so many brothers that it is hard to find something that she is good out that her brothers don't already shine out in. If she did have a younger sibling it would have to be that sibling who would have to the one that has to try and better there siblings in every way. Even though Ginny would still have to do that it would be such a big deal because she's not the youngest any more.
Also if she had a younger sibling she wouldn't be watched by her brothers every moment of the day like she is because she's the baby of the family and the only girl. It would still happen if the younger sibling was a boy but not so much if it was a girl. Furthermore, her mom wouldn't baby over her and make a big deal out of things she does because she would be the youngest in the family. If Ginny had a younger sibling she would be able to show them the ropes on how to do things, take care of them when they need to be.
Ginny has since given up on that desire as she knows that it will never happen. Deep down she always knew it wouldn't happen because she knew that her family couldn't afford to have another child.
Now when Ginny looks in the mirror she see's her family and friends whole and happy just like they were before the war came and took some of them away her.
