Oi minna!! I just had to start this fanfic already! I will discontinue my
other fanfics for a while. Except the fics which people are reviewing a
lot.
Anywayz, I really hope you like this fanfic. I thought of it last week and I've been working on it. It took some time to come up with just the prologue and first chapter!
There are going to be some new original characters in this fic...
Oh, and this fic in and Alternative Universe fanfic, just in case you guys wanted to know.

~ PROLOGUE ~

There was a woman sitting on a cliff, in front of a fire. She had a hood on, which covered much of her face, except her eyes. They seemed to be completely black.
She reached into a small pouch full of some kind of dust. With a handful of this dust, she threw it into the fire. Instantly, the fire grew big and wild, before it calmed down again.
The woman chanted something while her eyes were closed. Then she opened them again and looked into the fire.
"I see it..." she said softly.
There were howls from the wolf and dog demons. A man came out from the woods and walked up to the woman. She, however, seemed to not pay him any attention. She continued chanting.
The man walked to the other side of the fire. His long silver hair seemed to glow under the moon's light. As did his golden eyes. He appeared to be a man of about 30 years of age.
The woman opened her and looked at him. "You must be the Great Inu Youkai, Lord of the Western Lands," she said. She could see right through him. She could see his real form; a dog demon.
"What do you see?" he simply asked.
She lowered her head, and then raised back up to meet his gaze.
"Two brothers; dog demons. One born to destroy the world. The other..." she trailed off.
"What about the other?" the Inu Youkai asked, getting a bit impatient.
"It is unclear,"
"What does that mean?"
"It means..." she began. "That his future depends of his brother."
The Inu Youkai was confused. "What exactly does that mean?"
The woman did not answer.
"I don't understand why you called me out here to tell me this." He started to walk away, but was stopped when the woman spoke.
"They're your sons."
He turned around and saw that she was walking towards him. She stopped about two feet away from him.
"What are you talking about? My sons have nothing to do with this!" He was getting furious. How dare she say such thing!
"It is the truth. Your son was born to destroy the world."
"How can I believe what you say? My son will..." He tightened his fist and looked at her. "I won't let that happen! I'll raise him... I'll raise both my sons to be good at heart!" Saying that, he left.
The woman turned around and walked back to the fire. With one swing of her hand, the fire was put out.
"It is too late..."
