Kit ran far away trying to find shelter from the rain he had just escaped from the childrens shelter and ran far away as posible he coughed and sneezed he sat under a tree and put his face in his knee's. Poor kit all alone had no place to go he sat there crying there was a big thunder crash he gasped in fear and cried harder he screamed for help but no one could hear him in the rain and thunder he sat up and saw a small place that looked abandoned he ran inside and sat down cold and wet from the rain he wished he had a family he wanted someone to hug him he felt so lost and so alone, someone please help he said softly.

Kit woke up crying, Papa Bear he cried Baloo quickly turned on the light and headed for Kit.

Kit, Kit whats wrong?

Papa Bear, it was horrible i was lost and alone and it was raining and thundering everywhere i went people kept rejecting me! it was horrible Kit cried and wrapped his arms around baloo's neck.

Shh it's ok Kit it's alright shhh i've got you it's ok i'm here he soothed him softly i'm here everythings going to be ok he said soflty.

Baloo, it seemed so real I was scared i just wanted a family i needed someone to..to...

Baloo lifted the cub into his arms and held him close. Well you don't have ta worry anymore Kit you've got me i'm here for you now he said softly.

Kit cried and held his father tightly. Baloo kissed the top of his son's head it was only a nightmare he said softly.

Kit half smiled up at Baloo all my life the only thing I wanted was a family I couldn't find that I was on my own for a long time until I ran into Don Carnage I stayed with him and became a pirate but nothing I ever did actually made him happy or pleased he abused me, everytime I did something wrong he would either beat me or punish me by making me do hard work I just couldn't take anymore of it I knew i had to get out but I wasn't sure how, when I heard about the jewl I thought hey make your move then i ran into you, Kit finished his story he felt alone and he hugged his Papa Bear even closer.

Baloo was so hurt inside he'd never heard that part of the story before he held his son tighter he became angry at Carnage for treating his son like that. Baloo looked down at Kit and spoke softly.

Kit, he began I'm so sorry about all of that it I ever see Carnage again I'll make sure he never does that to you again I'm so sorry he said softly, but I'm here now and I'll never let him touch you he vowed not ever.

Kit smiled and yawned I love you Papa Bear he said softly, please don't leave me.

Baloo hugged him I love you too, and i will never leave you he replied.

Kit smiled and yawned once again and fell fast asleep in Baloo's arms. He smiled down at his son and gently hugged him and layed him down and tucked him in he gently kissed his forehead goodnight Lil Britches he said softly.
