Kate snuggled closer to the soft warmth that was Henry Foss. The tickle of his fur made her sneeze but the smile never left her face. Her husband made a few snuffling noises which she has always found incredibly cute. Not that she'd ever tell him that. He'd try to get all manly–which would only be cuter—and send her into a fit of giggles. Nope, it was her little secret.

She smothered a giggle as her side was tickled by one of her children trying to get closer to the warmth. Kate knew if she looked down she would a gray fuzz ball trying to burrow in between her and Henry. Two other fuzzy pups, one dark brown and one black, were also wriggling for better spots in the puppy pile.

This was what happened when you went on a camping vacation with werewolves. A beautiful rustic cabin and her family wanted to spend every minute outdoors. Enough food to feed an army and Henry decided to take the kids hunting. Beds more comfortable than angel's wings and they were in a pile in front of the fire. "You knew what you were getting into when you said I do," she murmured to herself. But would she want it any other way?

Henry let out a rumble. 'Katie?' he called through their link. It wasn't true telepathy. More images than words. But Kate always understood what he wanted.

"Fine," she whispered. "Just go back to sleep." She felt him pull away as sleep once again took him to the land of dreams. Yes, Kate had known the very moment she said yes to Henry's first date what her life was going to be like. And she was very glad she had said yes.
