Roses Aren't Perfect

Introduction

"Bye Mum! Bye Dad! Bye Hugo!" I yelled out of the window of the train, waving madly as my sulking younger brother was forced to wave by my Mum, who smiled widely at me. Dad held Mum's hand as he waved me off for the three of them.

My cousins, Roxanne Weasley, Fred Jr Weasley and Albus Potter crowded around me, cheering like anything as they herded me into a compartment, chattering loudly. I almost left my suitcases by the window, but snatched them just in time before my crazy cousins dragged me off.

"Oh crap, there's nowhere else left for us to go and we're stuck with him." Albus moaned, looking disgruntled as we piled into a compartment which had none other than Scorpius Malfoy and a snobbish looking girl in it, talking to each other. Two other snobbish boys sat next to them, stuffing their faces with food.

But obviously, Albus' big mouth had gotten us into a tight spot again, because Scorpius shot us a piercing glare before continuing to talk to the girl, obviously enraptured by whatever idiotic conversation they were on about.

"Albus!" I shrieked as he pulled my suitcases out of my grasp and onto the shelf above us, "Those have my books in!".

But obviously, I had my Dad's ability for not being able to keep his mouth shut, because Scorpius, the girl and the two boys all shot me a look of disgust as I hoisted down my smallest, heaviest suitcase and brought six books out of it, my face burning a bright crimson, and sat down, beginning to read.

As I read, I overheard Scorpius talking to the girl, "You know, Annalise, by the hair and the big mouth, that girl must be a Weasley.". He drawled out my family name with an air of distaste, and raised his eyebrow at the girl, Annalise, who began to laugh hysterically.

"Have you got a problem with me, blondie?" I snapped, shooting him a venomous look before diving back into my book. I could hear Fred and Roxanne in hysterics.
