DISCLAIMER: Blah, blah, blah. Not Rick Riordan. Blah, blah, blah. Don't own Percy Jackson series.
I ran, ran as fast as I possibly could. I had just abruptly woken up from my two o-clock nap-but nonetheless I felt invigorated, like I conquer the entire world, just as I did after waking up from my sleep.
But instead I was stuck trying to conquer the hills of the forest, while being chased by a pack of enormous, hungry, midnight black hounds (And when I say enormous I mean ENORMOUS).
As you can imagine it was terrifying. But as I had been doing this for two months I was a lot less scared than the average person. Don't get me wrong, I was still about to salhit myself, but as you (hopefully) haven't chased by massive dogs for the passed two months, you probably would've pooped all of you're intestines out by now.
I know you may be wondering: "But what happened in those two months." So I'll tell you: the same thing that was happening now. Nap,run, nap, eat, run repeat.
I remember nothing distinct about the days, but from what I can tell I have been running for just over two months, and I should be somewhere in New York right now.
Why the FORESTS of NEW YORK? I really have no clue. I guess I was just drawn over here (Beleive me, I would much rather be "drawn" to the city, but I wasn't)
-Back Into Reality-
And as I got deeper and deeper into the woods, I felt the draw to it more and more. I also felt the hounds catching up to me.
I knew new they were gaining on me. Big time gaining onme. And somehow I knew that this would be the end of my 'little trip': I would either die or would escape the hounds.
I really don't feel like dying today.
So, I used all of my energy up in one, quick burst of speed.
It was hardly enough.
As I ran I saw what seemed to be a giant gate above me. At the top:foreign lettering that Insomehow could read. I really wanted to stop and read it, I just didn't have enough time.
I looked back to see how much time I had.
I didnt have any.
A single bound lunged at me, I knew this would be the end. My life flashed before my eyes. But then I was alive. The hounds couldn't pass the gate. I began laughing hysterically, screaming "YES! YES! ITS FINALLY OVER!"
So, I let go. No I'm not dead stupid. I'm just sleeping. I knew I was going to enjoy this one. I planned to be out for 3 days, so I could recover all of the energy I lost on my trip.
So that's it, the first chapter. I'm not sure if I want to continue or not so it would help if everybody could say yay or nay to it. Sorry for the short chapter I guess I just didn't want to make it super long and boring.
Of course, criticism is always accepted.
Thanks!
