Hey Rookie Blue Lovers! So this is my new story as i took down my last one because i had extreme writers block and I wanted to change it! So no hate and please review! It had been a long month for Traci. First her soon to be husband was stabbed then shortly after her best friend lost died from a bomb! But now she was saying goodbye to her work mates and heading undercover, for who knows how long…..

"Traci I got your text whats up?" Andy said as she walked into the change room.

"Um…. Theres no easy way to say this Andy" Whispered Traci knowing that her departure will break her best friends heart after being dumped by the guy she is meant to be with.

"What is it Trace? You can tell me" Pleaded Andy as she prepared for what was coming out of her friends mouth.

"Im going undercover Andy.. And I don't know how long ill be." Whispered Traci not giving eye contact to her best friend.

"Oh…." Shuddered Andy.

"Im so sorry Andy! I-" Traci tried to say but Andy cut her off.

"Its ok Trace I'm glad for you! I thick you need this!" Andy sighed feeling kind of jealous that she didn't get picked.

"Ok! Well we better go off to parade!" Chanted Traci as she stood from the bench.

"Right behind you!" Chanted Andy as they left the locker room.

In Parade Staff Sergent Best was going on and on about the new detective position that needs to be filled but both Traci and Andy weren't paying attention.

TRACI"S MIND!

"God how i wish Jerry was here!" Sighed Traci. "Then Sam and Andy would be together, Jerry and I would be closer to be getting married, And I wouldn't be leaving!" Screamed Traci's Mind.

ANDY"S MIND!

"God sam looks so good in his uniform its like heaven" Sighed Andy. "No Andy don't fall for him AGAIN! He broke your heart you are not going back to him anytime soon!" screamed Andy's little voice in her head. "Stop invading my Sam thought time little voice!" Pestered Andy in her thoughts.

BACK TO PARADE!

"Ok that is it! Car assignments are on the board! SERVE PROTECT AND HAVE A DOUGHNUT BEFORE OLIVER EATS THEM ALL!" Hollered Best as he walked out of the room. Everyone got up and went to get a doughnut and some coffee before checking the board.

CAR ASSIGNMENTS

1501- Peck and Collins

1503- Epstein and Jules

1505- Shaw and Diaz

1507- Reed and Higgins

1509- Swarek and Mcnally

Desk- Clowers and Pocha

Everyone read the board and left for their cars but not before glancing at Andy and Sam, they were stuck together for 12 hours in a car.

'McNally you coming?" asked Sam and he sipped his coffee but when Andy didn't reply and went pale he got worried.

"Andy hun are you ok?" Whispered Sam as he cupped her face. Just when Sam was going to ask for help Andy lifted her pointer finger and directed it at someone as it shook, Sam looked over and saw Luke.. and Traci talking to Best. Andy quickly launched herself at Sam hugging him. It took Sam to register what just happen but when he did he held Andy close as they watched Traci leave with her things.
