They watched carefully as the priest started the ceremony, listening to every word in wait.

"Now!" she whispered when he asked if there was someone against the two marrying.

He pressed 'okay' on his cellphone, and immediately the song started playing loudly (she had somehow managed to connect the phone to a microphone, but he didn't even want to know how).

Our eyes met over the cadaver
And I knew I had to have her
Had his mitral valve gotten too thick
Is that what made our cadaver so sick?
Addison Montgomery
I met her in the summer, she
She was cutting up a very dead body
And in her eyes I saw my life
I knew that she would be my wife
And she would breathe the life back into me
For every day until eternity
Or until we were as dead as that body

The people in the church froze, and Addison covered her mouth with an hand, her eyes wide open in shock. If I ever find out who did this... they are not gonna survive.

Derek glanced at her from the altar, letting go of Meredith's hand. His mouth open, he just couldn't take his eyes off of her.

"Does that mean... that someone doesn't agree?"

The young woman was very tempted to stand up and scream that yes, she did disagree to her stupid brother marrying the slutty intern (who really wasn't an intern anymore). Instead, she crossed her arms on her chest with a snort of frustration, wondering when one of the two would speak up.

Derek didn't understand. He had the song in mind since their friends had sung it at Joe's after Archer's surgery, and it surely was a lot of time earlier. Why do I have to think about her today? Every other day is okay, but today...

The redhead hid her face in her hands, wishing to be invisible.

Someone cleared their throat. "Derek?" Meredith's voice sounded crystalline in the silence.

"I..." And in her eyes I saw my life...

Awkwardly, Addison forced herself to look.

I knew that she would be my wife... "Meredith..."

Addison swallowed, and Meredith kept staring at Derek incredulously. For everyday until eternity...

"Meredith, sorry, I can't."

Addison's heart started beating faster and faster at every second that passed, as Derek turned towards her again and slowly moved in her direction. Okay now, remember what I said earlier about not surviving and stuff? Forget it.

A/N: It may be stupid, but it also made me feel better. Good night! :) Oh, and please try and guess who organized the song thing. I'll tell you if you're right in the review answer!
