Challenge 1

The author is sitting in his office, a simple yet luxurious place where he worked on Project Blackthorn. He did have other projects, but couldn't do them yet. So the author set up a camera to record himself with words to say to his fellow authors.

Hello readers and writers, this is Yoshi3000 here to issue my first writing challenge. This challenge is an idea that's been floating in my head for a bit. I wanted to do them myself, but I couldn't due to school and Project Blackthorn. So I'll make it a challenge instead.

Poké Lagoon Crossover Challenge

I think Black Lagoon is an excellent senin anime. Mature, deep, and laden with the tropes of action movies. So what would happen if that Ronapour insanity branched to other worlds. Well...madness.

- What the hell's a Pokémon? Rock and Revy Version

Plot Summary: Sick of the criminal underbelly, the Thai government uses an experimental laser to eradicate the town. It makes them disappear only to dump them into another world. The Pokémon World. Rock's intrigued and Revy's pissed.

Rules:
-Events take place post-game (sometime after the events of Heartgold and Soulsliver) with a few liberties.
-Rock and Revy both start in Pallet Town and can be found by either Red's mother or Professor Oak.
-They MUST travel together.
-((You can choose which starter they pick: I recommend Revy taking Bulbasaur and Rock taking Charmander))
-Optional: Revy can come back in the night to steal the one unpicked.
- Optional: Side stories of Benny, Dutch, and Jane's misadventures of handling Pokémon while at sea.
-If you're doing Balalaika version as well, they must occur at the same time.

- What the hell's a Pokémon? Balalaika Version
Plot: same except we focus on Balalaika. Balalaika wakes up in the middle of the sea Route, Route 41 in Johto with no idea how she got there. All she knows that this strange large sea creature that resembles a plesiosaur (Lapras) saved her and is getting her to land.

Rules:
-Events take place post-game (sometime after the events of Heartgold and Soulsliver) with a few liberties.
-Balalaika starts with the Lapras that saved her as her first Pokémon.
-Balalaika begins her journey in Cianwood City.
-Balalaika can do her journey alone after she gains the supplies to become a trainer.
-Optional: Balalaika can travel with a young new trainer (OC) being the same one that aids her when Lapras brings her to shore.
-Through some means (likely through her plum wine suit being soaked), she ends up wearing the clothes of one of the female protagonists of the games. (You can pick, I'd recommended Leaf's)
-Side Story: Hotel Moscow is helping to run the Safari Zone and the soldiers trying to be handle Pokémon.

If you decide to do both:
-All three would meet up at the gates between Kanto and Johto.
-The three opt for Mt. Silver to fight the "true champion" and get horribly beaten by said champion. (Or at least only Rock manages to barely beat him)
-Optional: The fates of the other characters (You decide!)
