I write these words as I await your return. I know you'll come back to me, but I'm losing hope. I bear the worst kind of hope. A hope that kills. An impossible hope.
I stare out into the star-filled night and wonder if you ever even think of me anymore. Why would you, what with your oh-so-busy life, avenging your Clan and all? I wonder if you even see the same sky as I, some days. Are we worlds apart, kept together by an invisible bond; this thing you forged with me and claimed to tear away?
Skies above, I wish to bring you home. Don't you understand I'll help you avenge your Clan? Not just me, a great many people: Sakura, Kakashi, Iruka...We may even be able to strike a deal with Tsunade-baa-chan, ya' know? You are the last Uchiha with any real ties to Konoha. Having your bloodline as part of our village would do wonders in our way of show. We'd further our status as the strongest village.
