A well is an awful place to take up residence. For one, it gets absolutely freezing and secondly, it gets incredibly lonely. She use to have friends, really good ones. She even had people who she loved with all her being. Without having the need to really eat or drink, Andre had spent the past 350 years in a well, either sleeping or scaring the crap out of people that decided they were stupidly gonna come down into the aquifer that the well was once connected to. She was normal looking to some degree, being a young-looking female with brown hair and green eyes, or at least that was what she looked like the last time she saw what she looked like. Over time, Andre had figured out how to see around herself in the dark and at some point or another wrote a journal entry on the wall that she would stare at for hours everyday.

My name is Andre Gagnon

I've got no clue how old I am anymore. They made me forget. I don't want to go back, but I'll have to eventually. They took all my friends to keep me there, saying they were going to cryogenically freeze them. They said they would be fine. I know better than that. All my friends are dead now, nobody survives being frozen. Now that have my friends and family on display in their stupid lab.

Andre never understood why she wrote that damned thing. It was just a painful reminder to her that she was a freak that got her friends killed because someone wanted to figure out how she worked. One of the biggest things that irritated her while she was in the well was that for some weird reason, people threw what Andre assumed to be the modern currency down onto her, especially when she was trying to sleep. She had collected a lot of it too and quickly figured out how much it was. She found it to be somewhere around 300$ and that was a lot of money. Without any game plan, Andre wasn't planning to leave her home, but it seemed someone had other plans.

Andre was staring at the wall, as per usual, when a horrific crashing and shaking brought her to her feet. It felt like an earthquake to her and she feared that the well would come crashing down upon her. Scooping up any precious belongings, like the money she had gathered, Andre scrambled up the well with panic building up inside her. Once she reached the top, she took in her surroundings. Of course nobody was around to see her perched on the edge of a well, but she could see some people tearing down a house nearby. For fear of them somehow bringing the well down on top of her, Andre decided to not go back down into it but to go into the city instead.

Honestly, she thought the city smelt bad from below, it seemed worse above ground. Not wanting any issues with locals, Andre decided to stick to the back alley, knowing that people wouldn't mess with her if she was quiet enough. In no way was she ever expecting to meet someone either, but Andre did. Upon coming around a building, Andre came near nose to nose with a purple eyed girl with spiky lavender hair. For some strange reason, this girl looked young but was taller than Andre and this confused her. Then she saw her reflection in a nearby window. She would've sworn that she looked a lot older than she was looking, she looked like nothing more than a five year old girl in dirty clothing.

"Hey, you. Do you not have any parents?" The girl with spiky hair smiled and looped an arm around her as the girl led her into a house.

"N-no, miss." That was the first time Andre had spoken in a very long time, it almost seemed unnaturally for her.

"Alright. Let's clean you up, shall we?" The girl had an almost maniacal look on her face. "M'name's Rhode, what's yours?"

"It's Andre, and clean?"

"Yeah, you're filthy! Can't let you wander around filthy!" The next few hours were actually rather painful for Andre, Rhode wasn't gentle with her makeover skills but she at least got the job done. By the time Rhode was done with Andre, she looked like a little Indiana Jones, complete with a little fedora. "Alright, I've had my fun. Go scamper off." Rhode almost shoved Andre out the door. Of course Andre was thankful Rhode helped her, but she was basically tossing a kid out in the street. Andre didn't get a chance to protest as the door was shut in her face before she could make a peep.

With a disgruntled sigh, Andre decided it was time to return to the order. There wasn't anyway that the previous chief of the HQ was still alive, unless he was around just to spite her. She hated that man with a passion, he was the reason why she was a lab rat. He was also the reason why her friends were dead.

Andre had been fuming so hard that she hadn't even notice that she was somehow in front if the HQ towers front door. The first thing the door did was shriek in terror when it recognized her. Then it greeted her with an almost overjoyed greeting then let her in.

Meanwhile, the science division with Komui lee and the exorcists were looking at her in shock.

"Big brother, who is that?" Lenalee was still looking at the image in shock. The camera angle made it hard for them to see her face, therefore they didn't know whether it was an exorcist or not, but by the reaction of the door, they didn't think she was.

Komui knew that it wasn't an exorcist, but was as confused as everyone else. "It's not an exorcist. That much is obvious. Gatekeeper called her Andre but the coincidence of her being the same Andre from those old experiments just isn't possible. She would be an ancient lady."

Then, Andre looked up at the camera. She no longer looked like a 5 year old but maybe a 16 year old. Her bright green eyes stared at the camera boredly as she brushed her thick brown hair out of her eyes. Despite the picture for Andre being very old, Komui immediately recognized her. "Well, she isn't an ancient lady, but it's still her." Komui hummed and sipped on his coffee before turning away like nothing had happened.

"Big brother! What if she is dangerous?" Lenalee cried and followed Komui, the other exorcists following close behind.

Komui just laughed at that and turned back to them. "Miss Andre poses no threat to the Black Order so long as we make her feel welcome. Though the last time she was here, she was made to feel like she was a slave and was constantly under abuse." Andre had been nearby when Komui had said this and paused. She peeked around a corner at where he and the exorcists stood. "Treat her as you would any other exorcist, even though she isn't one, because she is a living being that deserves respect and dignity. Especially with what she has dealt with here."

The chief of the Black Order turned again and almost immediately spotted Andre peeking around the corner at them and gestured for her to come forward with a warm smile that practically screamed "I'm a crazy person that you will become best friends with". With a slightly uneasy smile, Andre slowly walked over, practically hiding beneath her hat.

"Mornin'." Andre greeted awkwardly, attempting to avoid eye contact with the exorcists who seemed rather suspicious of her being there. "'Case you were wonderin' I've been livin' in a well for the past hundred years, so don't expect me to be up to date on current events."

This seemed to lighten the mood considerably, getting some nice smiles from the exorcists and another warm smile from the maniacal chief. "Don't worry, we'll bring you up to date. I've already read your file when looking through old things, so you don't have much to worry about. We'll get you a room set up and you can settle right in and decide whether you wanna join the fray or not."

After this brief conversation, Andre was introduced to a good number of people, the exorcists, a bunch of the scientists who looked exhausted beyond belief and the pink cook, Jerry. Lenalee, who Andre found to be Komui's little sister that he obsessed over, led Andre to her room while talking about missions and the Noah Clan. When the tall girl began talking about something the Noah had apparently done, Andre began to pay more attention, due to her past with them. Then, to her horror, Lenalee described a member of the Noah Clan with lilac hair and purple eyes and when questioned on who this one was, Andre ended up with the dreaded answer. She had already met Rhode and she helped Andre for no particular reason. After this, she zoned out in thought, thinking about her meeting with Rhode. Rhode seemed crazy, but she wasn't especially threatening. She seemed to be a lot nicer than what Lenalee was making her out to be. These thoughts were abruptly stopped by a door. Literally, Andre ran right into the door that Lenalee opened.

"OUCH! What the-" Andre began to yell, only for Lena to put a hand over Andre's mouth to prevent her from cussing up a storm.

"Shhh, Andre. It's a door. This is your room." Lena cooed and smiled sweetly. "Your old belongings are in there too. I hope you can join us for dinner later, I think that you will like the others."

Andre stared dumbly at her. This girl made her question her sexuallity and she wasn't too fond of the idea of getting crucified for that. Quickly, with a blush forming on her face, Andre ran into her room and shut the door. She was sure to lock it once she was in then turned to look around. It was a nice spacious room and there was a single box on the bed with all her belongings on it. There was one thing that she wanted to see if she still had, it was a gift from her old friend who had been a member of the Noah Clan. The rummage through the box was brief, since what she was looking for was at the bottom of the box. When she found it, she squealed and turned it on. "Rero!"

What she was looking for was a small red pumpkin the size of her hand. This little pumpkin was a golem that Neah Walker had given her. This little golem named Rero gasped and somehow managed to tackle Andre off her feet. "Andre-sama! Rero missed you!"

Andre laughed happily and hugged the small flying pumpkin happily. She at least still had him.

Andre spent the next week trying to get a grip on what was going on. From the Earl being a dick with Akumas to Malcolm Lvellie being an even bigger dick by making Allen feel unwelcome, it seemed that everyone that was involved with the Black order from the outside was just plainly being a dick. She also was trying to figure out a good time to ask Allen if he was related to Neah because of his name. So far, Andre was finding that everyone was a complete ass to anyone that was different. One thing that she was thankful for was that nobody asked about Rero and she was content to keep it like that. And when Komui offered to let her tag along on a mission, she jumped at the chance to get out and about and maybe see a bit of what's going on. However, the mission was gonna have her tag along with Allen, Lenalee and the perverted rabbit, Lavi. She was fine with all of them except for the rabbit, as he didn't seem to know how to keep his hands to himself around her. The moment they had stepped on the train, Lavi made a move to glomp Andre, only for her to roundhouse kick him in the face.

" Aaaooww, Andre's a meanie!" Lavi whined, holding his cheek in pain.

"Ooohh, Lavi's a damned pervert!" Andre retorted and crossed her arms. Lenalee and Allen stood to the side and "oooo"'ed at them as Andre made Lavi feel tiny. "Now your hammer suits the size of your brain."

For once, Lavi stayed away and was quiet for the entire train ride and Andre felt extremely accomplished. However, the ride was very uneventful and thus was very boring. Allen fell asleep and Lavi doodled on his face like an angry Jigglypuff while Lenalee watched out the window and Andre mused on her past. She missed the few friends she had with the Noah Clan. She remembered how Neah was like a big brother to her and her relationship with Joyde. Even the Earl was a good friend to her. She wondered briefly if the Earl remembered her, though she doubted he would. When the train came to a halt, Lenalee ended up shaking Andre from her trance. Of course Andre was startled and embarrassed by this but she followed along behind them at a short distance. She truly believed that the trip would be uneventful, though she was immediately proven wrong by a certain purple haired Noah.

"Allen!" Rhode launched herself off the umbrella she was sitting on for some reason and glomped Allen, then noticed Andre. "It's you again! Hello Andre! Play with me!"

Lenalee was about to kick Rhode when Andre quickly intervened. "Let's not kick the little girl!"

"Andre, she's a Noah!" Lavi yelled, his expression holding panic.

"Yup! Come on, lets play!" And with that, Andre was pulled through Rhode's door.
