Just putting the prologue up. I apologize again for being such a turtle with the updates.
Prologue: Shin Sekai Yori
When the Kishin was destroyed, the Insanity wavelength he had been emitting dissolved. The world returned to its previous state, and balance was once again restored. Everyone finally realized what the world was made of: [omitted]. However, not everything was exactly the same. Arachne and Medusa's ultimate plan had not backfired completely—humans had changed on a fundamental level due to the imminent threat of annihilation.
Extinction had forced mutation within the surviving population.
Humans gained yet another amazing ability. Weapons and Meisters weren't left out of this anomaly. In fact, their abilities were even greater than those of the normal population.
Unfortunately, this started the age of Ogres and Karmic Kishins.
This mysterious adaptation known today as Psychokinesis or "PK" is where it all started.
It has been only a mere 23 years since the Kishin Asura was defeated. This is the record from the new world that rose up from the aftermath.
