A/N: Hello guys! This is my first ever fanfic! I'm not a pro,but I'm not a rookie either :p anyways,hope you guys like this chapter :)

Prologue

It was a sunny day at Storybrooke school. Birds chirped,the lake shined,and the fairytale-citizens of storybrooke did normal,peacuful things...that is,untl the bell rang. Today marked the last day of school for the students,and they could be quite the little troublemakers,especially three oh so sincere bell rang with a sharp RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGG and students started to fill out. Among the students,were three very important kids...the 'royals' of Storybrooke. They were easily befitted with the title,and though they didn't kow why,they just learned that it was best to ignore it.

'So...what are we doing today?' asked Rose Mills.

'I don't know. Now that's school's ended,I've become short on activites.' shrugged Neal.

'What a great idea Swan.' snapped Rose. 'Just march into Granny's and sit while we ponder over what to do.'

'What's so bad about the idea?'

'Well in case you haven't realised.' said neal in a fake sweet voice. 'We have to avoid Amy for the rest of the day.'

Daniel's eyes widened. 'Right!' he exclaimed,slapping his palm to his forehead. 'It's Amy's birth-'

'Swan!'

'Dan! For the love of Pete! keep your voice down!' hissed Neal. Rose had already slapped a hand over Dan's mouth.

'Mmmph!...le...lemme go!' came his muffled voice.

'Do us a favour and keep it down Swan.' said Rose,her voice just like Regina's. 'Or I'm going to have to do it myself.'

'Jesus...someone's in a crappy mood.' mumbled Dan.

'Okay...enough...both of you! Rose,we'll go over to your place,and plan out the whole thing. And please Dan...behave.'

'Whatever you say...' he mumbled,then cheekily added 'Uncle.'

Neal gave him a look,before promptly rolling his eyes as he started to followed,and Dan huffed. 'What is it with people and their sense of humor?' he said as he started to follow them as well.

In hopes that their canine friend hadn't felt bad,they walked into the Diner tentatively. The diner was jam packed as usual. their aunty Ruby and Granny were wroking in a rush,when someone suddenly collided with Dan.

'Ooof!' grunted Dan as he fell flat on the ground.

'Aw geez...S-sorry Dan!' said Amy.

'It's okay Amy...I'm sure Dan doesn't mind. Where were you off to anyways.'

'I was going to serve your family. I've been helping my mom ever since I got outta school.' said Amy,helping Dan get up. 'Help?' asked Rose,feigning confusion. 'What for?'

'You...don't what day it is today?'

'No we don't.' said Neal.

Dan whimpered from behind them,and Neal turned to see Rose holding Dan's arm in a vice like grip.

'Yes.' squeaked Dan. 'We know...nothing.'

Amy looked crestfallen,then merely shrugged as if she didn't care,and walked away.

Neal groaned. 'Why?' mumbled Neal.

'There There Nolan.' said Rose. 'She'll find out about the surprise.'

'I know she will...it's just...hard.'

'Of course it is.' joked Dan. 'After all...she is your one true love.' teased Dan.

Neal turned beet red. 'Come on...we have work to do.'

Amy couldn't remember he last time she was this hurt. She loved her family and all,but she coulldn't believe they forgot her birthday. Amy sighed as she trudged down the walkway. It was afull moon tomorrow,which meant that her mom was gonnaa turn. She wasn't a wolf,but her mom was. She'd heard stories about her grandma being a wolf,but she was a merciless one. 'She hated humans.' her mother had told was glad her grandmother was dead. She continued to trudge through the diner,when she saw something odd. The diner was dark. Confused,Amy walked inside the diner,the bell ringing with a tinkle.

'H-hello?' called-asked Amy.

The diner suddenly burst into hoots and calls of 'SURPRISE!' Amy's mouth dropped open,as her mom and dad hugged her in a big hug. Too overwhelmed,Am just hugged them back.

'You didn't think that after celeberating your birthday every year...we would forget this on...your sweet sixteen? Hell No!' laughed her mom.

Whale ruffled her hair. 'Yeah...just remember...no boys.' he said,staring pointedly at Neal who looked away,whistling innocently.

'Wait...Neal knew about this?'

'It was his plan in the first place.' said Red grinning.

'Yeah...looks like he has a crush on you too.'

'Dad!'

Whale burst out laughing. He ruffled her hair. 'Enjoy kiddo.' he said and walked away.

After everyone had wished her(Auntie Snow had hugged her very tightly) she walked over to the group of three she'd been longing to see. Neal and Rose were laughing tearfully at a joke Dan had just cracked,probably an innuendo. She cleared her throat. They all looked aat her,and Neal grinned. 'Amy!' he said,pulling her into a hug. the other two followed.

'Sorry about today.' said Neal sheepishly as Rose and Dan nodded. 'We...just didn't want to give up the surprise...so...' he shrugged.

Amy smiled. 'It's cool...actually...I wanted to talk to you.' she said,jabbing a finger at Neal.

Neal blinked. 'Why?' he asked.

'Well...I have my reasons.'

'You...you do?' Neal stuttered.

Amy hummed. Dan smirked and he hummed the tue of the kissing song as Rose pushed him out of the way and went along with him. Neal stood stock still. 'So...what is it you wanted to talk 'bout?' he asked clearing his throat. Amy just rolled her eyes,leaned in and kissed him. Neal stiffened in shock,but got over it,and kissed back. The kiss was soft and sweet,just as she had expected. The diner filled with hoots and hollers and Amy felt herself going beet red. Neal cupped her face and deepened the kiss. After a while,oxygen became necessary,and Neal pulled bag,joining her forehead with hers. 'Thanks.' whispered Amy.

'Anytime.' he breathed back. They sat like that for sometime,cuddling with each other as Leroy launched on his jokes,when suddenly the ground began shaking. Neal and Amy shot up and everybody cried out and ducked. It was a mild earthquake,and it stopped after sometime. 'Whoa...' whispered Neal. 'What was that?' he asked.

'i dunno...' said Amy. Five minutes later,the door burst opem,and Will Scarlet cam in panting. Muln was with him too.

'They're back!' said Will.

'Who's back?' asked Robin.

'All the people...goood and bad...whoever died...they're...they're ALL back!'

This was one hell of an evening indeed.
