When she first came to realize that the ground beneath her feet were nothing but air that magically supported her weight, she had panicked. Despite her promise to herself not to panic, she did. The world around her is strange, alien and nothing can remedy the situation considering that she had gone blind.
The Tochigami has gone blind.
She trudged across or around; she couldn't tell anymore until a dark chuckle can be heard reverberating toward her. She turned to the sound and smiled, her feet ran toward it before she felt her weight falling under.
She fell on her behind and she winced at the slight pain.
"You should give up Tochigami- sama" He sneered at the 'sama' and chuckled again when she huffed and grunted in annoyance.
"You should know me better now, I gave nothing up"
"Not even me?" He spat out "I need not your sympathy" snarling despite his weak body, his fragile mechanism that held him together.
"I'm not here as the Tochigami" She said softly "Please come here, I can't see you" she walked toward his voice, his angry growls.
"I will not give anything up either" He backed away, there is a need to run from her. A need that slowly crumbling as he watched her took her step carefully, her ears twitching as she tries her hardest to 'track' him down by his voice alone.
"That's fine by me" She whispered brokenly "I'm fine with that"
He stopped in his track, he didn't want to run anymore. Not when she was bravely making her way towards him. He could not deny that one thing as he briskly catching up to her, closing their distances, trapping her mouth with his.
"I love you" He said harshly, his eyes stings "I love you, you idiotic human"
"My name is Nanami" She breathed out desperately "Akura-ou"
"I don't want to be that demon right now" He groped her back, trying to feel her existence, to memorize something that he knew would be long gone before the details of her scents, her smooth textures, her face, her everything disappear before he can even register it in his mind.
Weak, weak and weak.
"Kirihito" She called out "I wish I can see you now"
That was the last thing he heard before her body dissipated into nothingness.
Like she never existed.
