Azure changes her life when she told Ironhide to become her spark-mate. The old warrior was happy that he could finally have a spark-mate. When Azure told Optimus about this, he agreed to have a spark-bonding ceremony. Ironhide was just as excited as Azure was.

The day of the ceremony had come. Ironhide was getting ready for the day that he could finally, in earth terms, marry Azure. Lennox was proud of Ironhide and would tease him about marrying women that had a temper. Azure had been getting ready at the same time. Arcee, Elita-One, and Chromia helped Azure get ready for her day. The Autobots had agreed to use their holoforms to make the ceremony more earthly. Optimus and the other mechs wore tuxedoes. Azure and the other femmes wore matching red and blue dresses with the Autobot symbol on the shoulder sleeves and in the middle on the front. Optimus looked at Azure when she came out.

Azure had blue eyes and blonde hair with streaks of red, blue, and silver. Her dress matched her perfectly. Optimus came over his shock and hugged his daughter.

"I hope you find peace, love, and happiness with the path you chose to go down," said Optimus. "And know that I will always be there for you, even when I'm not around."

"I hope so too, and just remember that you can't leave me until I say so," said Azure looking him in the eyes. "I love you dad."

"I love you too Sweetspark," said Optimus.

It was time for the ceremony to begin. All of NEST was there. Optimus lead Azure down the aisle and up to the alter, where Ironhide stood. Ironhide looked at Azure.

Primus does she look hot Ironhide thought.

Ratchet started the ceremony off. Everyone was seated. The medic said the lines and Ironhide said that he did. Then it was Azure's turn. Both of them had to say their vows to each other.

"Azure Prime, I take your spark and make you my spark-mate. I will do everything to protect you. I will be there for you when you need me," said Ironhide. "I am yours 'til the end of time."

"Ironhide, I take your spark and make you my spark-mate. I will do everything to ensure that you are happy. I will be there for you when you need me," said Azure. "I am yours 'til the end of time."

"As the earth terms go, you may now kiss the bride," said Ratchet.

Ironhide slipped a ring onto Azure's finger and kissed her. Azure kissed him back. Everyone clapped and Ironhide broke the kiss. Azure went to Optimus when he motioned for her.

"Just don't interface too much," said Optimus.

"I won't dad," said Azure.

Ironhide came from up behind Azure and kissed her. The two left toward a secret hideout that no one knows about except for Ironhide to spark-bond. The ground opened and Ironhide carried Azure bridal style inside. He opened his chest and revealed his blue spark. Azure did the same.

Ironhide brought Azure closer and their sparks merged together. Azure felt everything that Ironhide had. Ironhide explored Azure's feelings and memories. He leaned in and kissed her. They laid on the berth.

The next few days, Ironhide and Azure spent time together. The missions were easy, so they didn't need them. Azure woke up due to something moving inside her stomach on the 8th day. She woke up Ironhide to tell him.

"Ironhide, something just moved inside of me," said Azure.

"Are you sure it wasn't a dream?" Ironhide asked sleepily.

"I'm sure, I'm going to Ratchet if I feel it again," said Azure.

Later that afternoon, Azure began to purge after drinking her cube of Energon. Ironhide was at her side. The movement in her stomach started again. Azure felt dizzy and collapsed into Ironhide's servos.

"Ratchet, prepare sick bay right now," said Ironhide, while he carried Azure toward the base. "I'll answer questions later."

Ratchet was waiting at the door of the medibay. Ironhide carried Azure to Ratchet. The medic told Ironhide to lay Azure on the medical berth.

"Tell me all that has happened to her," said Ratchet.

"She woke up around 2:40 A.M saying that something moved inside of her," said Ironhide. "Then this afternoon after finishing her Energon, she purged and collapsed into my arms."

"This will be a more personal question," said Ratchet. "Did you interface and when?"

"Uh, we interfaced after we sparkmerged, which was after the spark-bonding ceremony," said Ironhide. "Plus the day after that."

Ratchet did a scan on Azure as he listened to Ironhide. He chuckled to himself when the results popped up. Ironhide seemed irritated and demanded to know what was going on.

"You're going to become a father in a few months. Azure has been sparked," said Ratchet. "Though she will need to stay in the medibay for another 2 weeks to ensure that that her and the sparkling are healthy."

"What do you mean she's sparked? Two interfaces ain't going to get her sparked," said Ironhide.

Optimus heard Ironhide yell at Ratchet. He walked into the medical bay. Azure laid on the medical berth. Optimus was immediately worried about his daughter.

"Ratchet, what is going on here? Is Azure alright?" asked Optimus.

"She will be okay Prime," said Ratchet. "She's sparked."

"What?" Optimus asked in shock.

"Prime, I didn't think that interfacing twice would spark her," said Ironhide. "But she is carrying the next Prime."

"That is why it will only be a few months before the sparkling is born," said Ratchet. "The bad news is that she will not be going into battle 2 months after the sparkling is born."

Azure woke up to find Ironhide and Optimus. Ironhide held her hand while he was in recharge. Optimus was awake and on her right side. He smiled down at her.

"Hey dad, don't you have a duty to get to?" asked Azure.

"Not until next week. I get time off as the humans say," said Optimus with a slight chuckle.
