Chapter 1: To Bowser's Castle!
Yoshi was hanging out at Mario's house today. He strolled over for a bite to eat.
"Hello, Mario!" Yoshi greeted as he walked into Mario's house. "What's for-" Yoshi stopped in his tracks. Mario's house was empty, but there was a note on the floor. It said:
Dear Yoshi,
I'm sure you are concerned about Mario's whereabouts. Just so you know, I have taken him hostage and he will be my slave. MWAHA HA HA HA.
Bowser
Yoshi was ticked off. "I have to save Mario!" he proclaimed. Yoshi was determined, nothing was gonna stop him from saving Mario, so Mario could make him some lunch! Yoshi took the note and shoved it in his bright red boots and ran towards Bowser's castle.
The journey to Bowser's castle was longer than he thought. Yoshi had to make a camp in the woods. He put up a tent and created a fire. Yoshi sighed. He was getting hungry, and Mario wasn't there to make him lunch. Yoshi decided to roll into his tent and go to sleep.
Yoshi awoke early next morning. He jumped up from sleep and ran towards Bowser's castle. At least I can see it from here, Yoshi thought. Yoshi jumped up into a tree and stood on its highest branches.
He pondered at the fact the highest branch on the tree was a tiny stem and it was holding him up. Oh well, at least it's doing the job. Yoshi could see that Bowser's castle was up the hill.
He jumped off the tree and landed on the ground. "To Bowser's castle!" he exclaimed and ran off.
