Dearly Beloved

She was the light of my life. The air I breathe. We've been through so much, Bella and I. I tried hard to keep her away from me, to her being hunted, her disastrous birthday party, leaving, her saving me, Victoria...you know.

But now here we are. The moment I've been waiting for. She was beautiful, the way she walked down the isle, her hair pulled up in a way that framed her heart shaped face. She was all mine. As she got closer, I could see the tears in her eyes and my dead heart melted. I love you too.

I took her hand in mine and smiled. "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to join these two lovers in-" His thoughts penetrated my head the moment he walked through the trees. "I object!" Gasps followed and I turned my head to see one person I didn't even know. But Bella did.

"You." She glared as he came closer. I cocked my head to the side. "Love...what is this...mutt doing here?" My family stood slowly and the man did nothing but raise a brow. "That's not going to scare me. Listen Swan. You really have no idea who you're marrying." I glared as his thoughts suddenly disappeared. Bella raised a brow too. "Exposing them, exposes you." The man laughed and everyone was silent watching this like a movie.

"Oh baby, that is not the type of exposing I planned to do today." The guests quietly murmured and someone I never wanted to see again stood from the crowd. She walked down the isle, her brown eyes gazing at mine...just like how they used to.

"Bella, meet Stephanie." I gulped slowly as the two assessed each other. She walked up to Bella and whispered in her ear while looking straight at me. "I was never human enough. He won't change you. I stood here too, great honeymoon, but...look at me..still human."

Bella looked at me, and then the mutt. "Well...you must not hate me that much." The man shrugged and slipped his hands in his pockets. "You're alright leech lover." Bella turned to me and then the guests. "I guess there won't be a wedding today. Sorry to waste your time folks." Bella turned to me and took off her engagement ring. She put it in my hand and turned away. "Dearly beloved...weddings are bullshit."
